Fits Bea-fon SL650 smartphone and replaces OEM part number SL650.
3.7V, 800mAh lithium-ion cell restores full talk and standby time on the SL650.
Single-contact connector with lateral orientation lock tab seats flush in the battery cavity.
We bench-tested the cell on a SL650 unit — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes or slow-charge entry phase.
On first full charge cycle after installation, disable fast charging in phone settings — this allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging loads hit an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bea-fon SL650 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SL650)

This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion battery for the Bea-fon SL650 mobile phone. It fits the SL650 directly and restores full device operation when the original cell has degraded or failed. Capacity is rated at 2.96Wh, matching the stock specification.

  • SL650 platform fit: The SL650 uses a slim, low-draw phone architecture with a fixed connector layout. This cell matches the voltage rail and physical footprint that the SL650 charging IC and BMS expect — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the SL650 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC reached full termination voltage cleanly.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle before relying on the battery percentage indicator. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve accurately. Skipping this step often causes percentage jumps or early shutdown warnings.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. When the SL650 powers the modem or screen at peak draw, a new uncalibrated cell can drop below the BMS cutoff voltage momentarily — even when the reported percentage looks healthy. The phone shuts down to protect the cell, not because it's empty. One full discharge-charge cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and moves the cutoff trigger to the correct state-of-charge point.

Phone warm near the battery during the first charge cycle

A new Li-ion cell typically has higher internal impedance on its first cycle. The SL650 charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, and some of that energy converts to heat rather than stored charge. This is normal and reduces after the first full cycle as the cell's internal impedance settles. If the phone feels hot to the touch — above what you'd expect from normal use — remove it from charge and let it cool to room temperature before continuing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the Bea-fon SL650 showing the wrong battery percentage after I put in the new battery?

The fuel gauge IC in the SL650 is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. It reads voltage and estimates state-of-charge based on that curve — with a new cell, the mapping is off. Run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.

The SL650 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what's wrong?

If the cell discharged below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS has locked out to prevent damage to the cell. The phone will not respond to a normal power button press. Connect it to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it recovers above the BMS unlock threshold, at which point the phone should boot normally.

The battery percentage on my SL650 keeps jumping around erratically — is the new battery faulty?

Erratic percentage readings are almost always a fuel gauge IC issue, not a faulty cell. The IC is recalibrating its internal model against the new cell's voltage-to-capacity curve, and the jumps happen while it's still estimating. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without interrupting the charge phase. If the jumping continues after two cycles, check that the battery contacts on the phone are clean and making solid connection — oxidised contacts cause voltage noise that confuses the fuel gauge IC.
