Fits HTC Desire 825 and Desire 825 TD-LTE models, replaces B2PUK100 battery.
3.85V, 2600mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers full charge capacity to the Desire 825's processor and display without voltage sag under load.
Connector slides into the standard HTC battery slot with the contact pads facing the device — no locking tab, seats flush against the rear case.
We bench-tested this cell in a Desire 825 motherboard; the fuel gauge IC registered the new capacity within two full discharge-charge cycles, voltage held steady under sustained modem draw.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-to-shutdown and recharge without interruption — this recalibrates the coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before the phone reports accurate percentage again.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC Desire 825 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B2PUK100)

This is a 3.85V, 2600mAh (10.01Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the HTC Desire 825, Desire 825 TD-LTE, D825u, and Desire 825 Dual SIM. It replaces OEM part numbers B2PUK100, 35H00258-03M, and 35H00258-00M. Fit covers all regional variants of the Desire 825 lineup that share the same internal cell bay and connector.

  • Desire 825 variant compatibility: The TD-LTE, Dual SIM, and D825u variants all use the same 3.85V cell bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake as the base Desire 825. One cell format covers all of them — no adapter or modification required.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a Desire 825 unit and confirmed the BMS accepted charge from both standard and fast-charge inputs. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff and reset cleanly on reconnection.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Desire 825 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still reading the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop under modem and display load, so the phone hits the hardware cutoff before the reported percentage reaches zero. The phone shuts down not because the battery is faulty, but because the coulomb counter hasn't mapped the new cell yet. One full discharge-to-zero and uninterrupted charge cycle resolves it in most cases.

OS reporting incorrect battery percentage after replacement

The Desire 825 stores learned capacity data from the old cell in the fuel gauge IC. After swapping the cell, that stored data no longer matches the new cell's actual charge curve. The result is percentage readings that jump, stall, or read full when the cell is partially discharged. Drain the battery until the phone powers off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this forces the IC to recalibrate against the new cell's actual characteristics.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Desire 825 shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still running off the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads the voltage cliff of the new cell under modem and screen load. The phone hits hardware cutoff before the display percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge-to-poweroff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% and the IC will remap to the new cell.

Fast charging stopped working on my Desire 825 after the battery swap — it only slow charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS on the new cell may not immediately handshake with the charge IC for high-current input. The phone defaults to trickle or standard charge as a protection measure. Let it complete one full charge at standard rate before enabling fast charging. If fast charging still doesn't engage after that cycle, check that the USB port is clean and the cable supports the required current.

My Desire 825 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage. The phone will show no response to the power button. Connect to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will slowly bring the cell voltage above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone should power on and begin a normal charge.
