Fits iDO S600, S601, and S630 smartphones; replaces OEM part SP70A.
3.7V and 2400mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers stable voltage across calls, messaging, and app use.
Connector seats flush into the original battery slot with no orientation confusion or locking tab adjustment needed.
We bench-cycled this cell through five full charge-discharge runs; the BMS accepted charge current cleanly and voltage held steady under moderate phone load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

iDO S600 Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (SP70A)

This 3.7V, 2400mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the OEM SP70A cell in the iDO S600, S601, and S630 smartphones. It restores power to a phone that no longer holds a charge or fails to power on due to a degraded original cell. Capacity is 8.88Wh — matching the stock specification.

  • S600, S601, and S630 compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the SP70A part number covers the full run of this hardware revision.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the S600 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC reached termination voltage cleanly at 4.2V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a steeper-than-expected voltage drop under modem or screen load, the phone interprets it as a critical low-voltage event and cuts power. The reported percentage at shutdown is meaningless until the IC recalibrates. Run one full drain — screen on, no charger — down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% to reset the curve.

Phone won't power on after the SP70A sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell drops below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks current flow to protect against unsafe charging of a deeply discharged cell. Plugging in a charger appears to do nothing — the phone shows no charging indicator. Connect to a 5V USB-A charger (not USB-PD) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button; the BMS trickle-charges the cell back above the lockout threshold, after which normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My iDO S600 percentage is jumping around erratically after fitting the SP70A — is something wrong with the battery?

Nothing is wrong with the cell itself. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old battery's discharge curve and is misreading the new cell's voltage profile. Run one complete cycle — drain the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter resets against the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after fitting this battery — it's only slow charging now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some BMS configurations fall back to standard 5V/1A charging until the charge IC completes one full termination cycle and confirms cell health. This is a protective default, not a fault. Charge to 100% on the slow rate, let the phone cool, then reconnect — the fast charge handshake should resume on the second cycle.

The S600 feels warm near the battery while charging the new SP70A — is this normal?

A fresh Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more heat in the first few cycles. The warmth should be mild — noticeable but not hot to the touch. If the phone becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable, remove it from the charger and check that the connector is fully seated. After two to three full charge cycles, impedance drops and the warmth resolves on its own.
