This is a 3.83V, 3000mAh Li-Polymer cell for the LeEco Le 2 and Le 2 Pro smartphones. It replaces the original battery when the cell has degraded, lost capacity, or will no longer hold a charge. Dimensions are 75.10 × 63.50 × 3.80mm — verify clearance before installation.

• Le 2 and Le 2 Pro compatibility: Both models run the same battery bay dimensions and voltage rail. The connector pinout and BMS handshake are identical across the two variants, so one cell covers both.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Le 2 platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without error flags, and charge termination triggered correctly at 4.35V under standard charge protocol.
• Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Why the Le 2 shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a battery swap

The Le 2 uses a coulomb counter that was calibrated against the discharge curve of the original cell. A new cell has a slightly different voltage-to-capacity curve, so the fuel gauge misreads remaining capacity. Under high load — screen at full brightness, LTE active, background sync running — the cell voltage drops faster than the gauge expects. The phone hits the hardware shutdown threshold before the OS percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging resets the calibration.

Fast charging not working on the first cycle after replacement

LeEco's proprietary charge protocol requires the charge IC to verify cell impedance before stepping up current. On a brand-new cell, impedance reads higher than a conditioned cell, and the IC falls back to standard 5V charging as a precaution. This is not a fault — it resolves after the first complete cycle. Complete one full discharge to around 5% and charge back to 100% at standard rate, then fast charging re-enables on the next session.
