Replaces LeEco LT55C battery for Le1s, X500, X501, X502 smartphones.
3.8V, 3000mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge capacity to the Le1s.
Connector is soldered to the motherboard — no connector type swap needed.
We ran full discharge cycles on a stock Le1s; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LeEco Le1s / X500 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LT55C)

This 3.8V, 3000mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces part number LT55C in the LeEco Le1s and its X500, X501, and X502 variants. It fits the same footprint as the original at 73.50 × 63.00 × 4.10mm. Install it when the original cell no longer holds adequate charge or fails to power the device.

  • X500 series compatibility: The Le1s, X500, X501, and X502 share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake logic. One cell covers all four models without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full discharge-charge sequence and confirmed the BMS communicates charge state correctly to the OS. The protection circuit triggers at the rated low-voltage threshold without a false cutoff above 3.0V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Le1s after a cell swap

The Le1s fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell with a different internal resistance goes in, the IC miscalculates remaining capacity. Under modem transmission or screen-on load, current draw spikes and actual cell voltage drops faster than the OS predicts. The BMS hits the hardware low-voltage floor and cuts power before the reported percentage reaches zero. One full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle lets the coulomb counter relearn the curve and eliminates early shutdowns.

Le1s not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage and blocks normal boot. The phone shows nothing when the power button is pressed. Connect a known-good charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage rises above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 3.0V, at which point the phone will respond and begin a normal charge cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Le1s shuts off at around 25% battery after fitting the new LT55C — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The Le1s fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell, so it misjudges how much capacity remains. Under a load spike — modem, screen brightness, GPS — the actual voltage drops fast enough for the BMS to cut power before the percentage reads zero. Run one complete uninterrupted discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge fully to 100% without interruption, and the coulomb counter will relearn the new cell's curve.

The Le1s percentage jumps around erratically — showing 60%, then 45%, then back to 55% within minutes of installing the replacement battery.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating after the cell swap. The IC's stored capacity model no longer matches the new cell's actual impedance and discharge profile, so reported percentage swings as the counter corrects itself. It is not a sign of a defective cell. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption and the readings will stabilise as the IC builds an accurate model of the new cell.

Fast charging stopped working on my Le1s after fitting the new cell — it only charges at a slow rate now.

On the first cycle after a cell replacement, the charge IC defaults to a conservative current limit until it confirms the new cell's impedance is within expected range. Some proprietary fast-charge handshakes also require a completed charge cycle before the protocol re-enables at full current. Charge the phone to 100% using the original LeEco adapter, let it sit at full charge for two minutes, then unplug and replug — fast charging should re-enable at that point.
