Fits LG Transpyre, VS810, and VS810PP — directly replaces BL-41A1H battery pack.
3.7V, 1600mAh cell powers the processor, display, and modem on Transpyre models.
Connector slides into the battery slot with the locking tab facing the chassis edge.
We bench-tested this cell on a Transpyre platform — BMS accepted charge without fault codes, voltage held steady under load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG Transpyre / VS810 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BL-41A1H)

This is a 3.7V, 1600mAh Li-ion cell built to the BL-41A1H spec for the LG Transpyre, VS810, VS810PP, and LS660. It replaces the original cell when capacity has dropped or the battery no longer holds a usable charge. Voltage and physical footprint match the OEM unit at 76.14 × 47.77 × 4.22mm.

  • Transpyre / VS810 platform fit: The VS810, VS810PP, and LS660 all share the same battery bay geometry and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers all variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a VS810 unit. The BMS accepted charge from the first connection, current tapered correctly at full voltage, and no cutoff errors were logged.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter to the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the VS810 after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. The fuel gauge IC still holds the old cell's discharge curve in memory, so the percentage shown on screen does not match the new cell's actual voltage behaviour. Under modem radio or screen load, the new cell's voltage drops faster than the IC expects, and the phone cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-recharge cycle forces the coulomb counter to rebuild the curve against the new cell. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% stop.

Phone warm near the battery compartment on the first charge cycle

A freshly installed cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. The charge IC pushes current into that resistance, and the heat is the energy loss across it. This is normal on the first one or two cycles and reduces as impedance settles. If the phone stays warm past the third full charge, check that the connector is fully seated — a partially connected cell forces the IC to work harder to maintain contact voltage. Confirm the back cover is flush and the battery tab is not folded under the cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My LG Transpyre keeps shutting off at around 25% — is the new battery faulty?

It's not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC on the VS810 calibrates its percentage readout to the old cell's discharge curve, and the new cell hits a lower voltage cliff under load at a point the IC still reads as 25%. Run one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. That single cycle rebuilds the coulomb counter map against the new cell, and the early shutdowns stop.

The Transpyre won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.

Li-ion cells in storage self-discharge slowly, and if this cell dropped below 2.5V the BMS will have locked out to prevent damage to the cell chemistry. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC on the VS810 runs a trickle pre-charge sequence that brings the cell back above the BMS unlock threshold, usually around 3.0V, before normal charging resumes. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, the BMS has re-initialised.

Fast charging stopped working after I swapped the battery on my VS810 — it only charges slowly now.

The USB negotiation protocol on the VS810 can fail to re-establish on the first cycle with a new BMS. The phone defaults to standard 5V charging as a fallback. Unplug the charger, power the phone fully off, then reconnect to the original wall adapter — not a third-party cable or hub. On a cold boot with the charger already connected, the charge IC re-runs the USB-PD handshake and typically locks back onto the fast charge profile. If it does not, complete one full standard-charge cycle first; the BMS acceptance threshold shifts slightly after the first full cycle.
