Fits Navon BT60 smartphones; replaces original BT60 battery pack.
3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell delivers standard daily smartphone power for calls, messaging, and apps.
Connector slides straight in; no locking tab; slides out with gentle fingernail leverage at slot edge.
We bench-cycled this cell in a Navon X-series frame; BMS accepted charge without fault codes on first insertion.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Navon BT60 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BT60)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for Navon smartphones that use the BT60 cell. It measures 53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm and matches the original form factor. Fit it when the original battery no longer holds charge or fails to power the handset.

  • BT60 platform fit: Navon handsets in this range share the same battery bay dimensions, connector orientation, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The BT60 designation covers both the OEM part number and the fit model, so one cell serves the full compatible lineup without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a compatible handset, confirming the BMS accepted the cell, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and no overcurrent fault tripped on boot or during modem wake events.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting, disable fast charging if available and run one complete discharge down to auto-shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve for the new cell before it starts tracking coulombs under load.

Why the Navon phone reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-versus-capacity profile of the replacement. The gauge reads voltage correctly but maps it to the wrong state-of-charge percentage. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by a full charge resets the coulomb counter and forces the IC to re-anchor its curve to the new cell's actual endpoints.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or display load before the fuel gauge predicts empty. At high current draw, internal resistance causes a rapid voltage drop that trips the BMS undervoltage cutoff — even while the reported percentage still looks safe. The fuel gauge IC hasn't yet mapped where that cliff sits on the new cell. Running two full discharge-charge cycles after fitting closes the gap; after recalibration, shutoffs should move down to below 5% reported charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the battery dead?

It isn't necessarily dead, but the BMS has likely locked the cell out due to deep discharge below 2.5V per cell. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for at least 20 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold before normal charging can begin. If the charging indicator appears within 30 minutes, the cell is recovering normally.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged the replacement battery — why?

On the first charge cycle, the new BMS may not complete the USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake until it has seen at least one standard charge complete. Use the original wall adapter and let the first charge finish at standard rate without interrupting it. After one full cycle, the protocol negotiation typically re-establishes and fast charging resumes. If it doesn't return after two cycles, check that the adapter output matches the 5V/standard charge profile the BT60 cell expects.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — shows 60%, then drops to 40%, then jumps back up — what's causing that?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its internal model against the new cell's discharge curve and producing unstable readings until it has enough data points. This is common in the first two to three charge cycles after a cell replacement. Run two complete discharge-to-shutoff and full-charge cycles without interrupting them mid-way. After the second full cycle, the coulomb counter has enough reference data to track state-of-charge smoothly and the jumping should stop.
