Fits NEC N110, N118, N650i, and N342i models; replaces OEM part AHL03607209 or AHL03607217.
3.7V 850mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 3.15Wh — sufficient for calling and messaging on original N110 hardware.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab; contact alignment is standard for NEC mobile platforms.
We bench-tested this cell on an N110 simulator; the BMS accepted a full charge cycle without early cutoff or thermal throttling.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

NEC N110 / N650i Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (AHL03607209)

This 3.7V 850mAh (3.15Wh) Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the NEC N110, N118, N650i, and N342i mobile phones. It fits the same battery bay and connector as the factory unit. Use the Capacity figure above — 850mAh — as the reference spec for this cell.

  • N110, N118, N650i, N342i compatibility: These four models share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture and the same physical connector pinout. One replacement cell covers the full group — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS accepted a standard CC/CV charge profile, held voltage within spec under simulated call and screen load, and triggered cutoff cleanly at the lower voltage threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, run one complete discharge to auto-shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before using the phone normally. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter to the new cell's actual discharge curve and stops erratic percentage readings early on.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the NEC N110 after a cell swap

A new cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile than the aged original. When the phone's modem fires up for a call or the screen peaks brightness, current draw spikes. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's curve, it misreads available voltage and the phone shuts down even though the reported percentage looks safe. The fix is one full discharge-charge cycle with no interruptions — this resets the coulomb counter baseline. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.

Phone shows incorrect battery percentage after replacement

The fuel gauge IC on these NEC models learns the cell's discharge curve over time. Fit a new cell and it still references the old curve — so percentage readings jump, stall, or drop suddenly in the last quarter. This is a calibration state, not a fault with the cell. Drain the phone fully until it powers off on its own, then charge it to 100% in one session. The IC recalibrates against the new curve and percentage reporting stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions

My NEC N110 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead — just in BMS lockout. If a Li-ion cell drops below roughly 2.5V during storage, the battery management system blocks output to protect the cell from damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BMS circuits on these cells will accept a trickle from the charge IC and recover enough voltage to allow a normal boot. If the charge indicator light never appears after 45 minutes, check the charger and cable first before assuming the cell is faulty.

Fast charging isn't working on my N650i after fitting the new battery — it only slow charges now.

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC sometimes defaults to a conservative current limit while it reads the new BMS. This is normal and usually self-corrects after one complete charge. Let the phone charge fully at whatever rate it accepts, then unplug and use it until it shuts off automatically. On the next charge cycle, the IC should negotiate the correct current profile and charging speed should return to normal.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging — is that a problem with this cell?

A new Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a run-in one, so it generates slightly more heat during the first few charge cycles as current pushes through a cell that hasn't yet settled. That warmth is expected and diminishes after two or three full cycles. If the phone becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold, or if warmth continues past the third charge cycle, check that the charger output matches the phone's rated input — overvoltage from a non-original charger will cause sustained heat regardless of the cell fitted.
