Fits Wiko GOA, Sunny, 9662, and Tramonto smartphones; replaces OEM part numbers GOA and 2502.
3.7V and 1200mAh cell restores normal runtime and eliminates sudden shutdowns on the original battery's degraded curve.
Connector slides straight into the GOA battery slot with no locking tab; polarity marked on both cell and device housing.
We bench-tested this cell on a GOA unit and confirmed the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS handshake without requiring a factory reset.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko GOA / Sunny Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (GOA,2502)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell replacing the original battery in Wiko GOA, Sunny, 9662, and Tramonto smartphones. It matches the OEM voltage and physical footprint at 52.23 × 50.93 × 4.50mm. Fit the connector tab correctly and the phone will recognise the cell immediately.

  • GOA / Sunny platform compatibility: These four models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The BMS on each handshakes to the same charge IC, so one cell covers all four without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a GOA unit. The BMS accepted the charge profile without fault codes, and the protection circuit triggered correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell — preventing erratic percentage readings from the first day.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Wiko GOA after a cell swap

The GOA's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve from the old degraded cell after a swap. When the new cell's open-circuit voltage drops into the 3.6–3.7V range under modem or screen load, the IC incorrectly maps this to a near-empty state and triggers a protective shutdown. The fix is a full uninterrupted discharge to automatic power-off, followed by a full charge without interruption. After that single calibration cycle, the IC rewrites its reference curve and the shutdowns stop.

Phone reports wrong battery percentage after replacement cell installed

The coulomb counter inside the GOA's charge IC was calibrated against the old cell's internal resistance and capacity fade profile. A fresh 1200mAh cell has lower impedance, so the counter over- or under-reports state of charge for the first few cycles. You will see the percentage jump or stall at fixed points. Run one full discharge to zero — let the phone power off on its own — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The fuel gauge IC re-anchors its endpoints and percentage tracking stabilises from the next cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Wiko GOA shuts off suddenly when the screen shows around 25% — why does this keep happening with the new battery?

The GOA's fuel gauge IC is still reading the new cell against the old cell's degraded discharge curve, so it hits its low-voltage threshold earlier than the display percentage suggests. This is a calibration mismatch, not a fault with the cell itself. Let the phone drain completely until it powers off on its own, then charge it straight to 100% without unplugging early. After that one full cycle the IC recalibrates, and the premature shutdowns stop.

After fitting the replacement battery, the phone feels warm near the battery compartment while charging — is that normal?

A fresh cell has lower internal impedance than the worn cell the charge IC was tuned to, so the IC initially pushes slightly more current than it would into an aged cell. This produces a mild temperature rise during the first few charge cycles. It settles as the charge IC adapts to the new cell's impedance profile. If the case becomes uncomfortably hot or charging stops before 100%, check that the connector is fully seated — a partial connection raises contact resistance and concentrates heat at the joint.

The Wiko GOA won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it — how do I recover it?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell the BMS will have entered a lockout state to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9–3.0V, at which point the BMS re-initialises and the phone will power on normally.
