Fits Zondan Apollo N3 medical devices; replaces OEM battery part number LI13S001A.
11.1V and 2600mAh capacity delivers 28.86Wh total energy for continuous clinical operation without mid-shift battery swaps.
Connector type and orientation match Apollo N3 slot exactly; locking tab seats flush with no force required.
We bench-tested this cell in Apollo N3 hardware; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion and voltage held steady across a full discharge cycle.
After installation, allow the device to complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption — medical devices run BMS verification at startup, and interrupting this sequence causes a false battery fault that persists until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Zondan Apollo N3 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LI13S001A)

This 11.1V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery replaces part number LI13S001A in the Zondan Apollo N3 portable medical device. It matches the original voltage, capacity, and connector configuration. Dimensions are 68.00 × 36.00 × 34.40mm — confirm these against your existing cell before fitting.

  • Apollo N3 platform fit: The Apollo N3 uses a dedicated BMS handshake that reads cell voltage and chemistry at startup. This replacement matches the 11.1V three-cell Li-ion configuration the device expects, so the handshake completes without a fault code.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge under the Apollo N3 load profile. The BMS accepted the cell on first insertion, completed the self-test sequence, and held voltage within the device's operating window throughout the test run.
  • Post-installation self-test protocol: After fitting, let the Apollo N3 complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification at startup — cutting power mid-sequence logs a false battery fault that will persist until the next clean reboot.

Why the Apollo N3 may not complete its boot sequence on a new battery

A new Li-ion cell often sits at a partial state of charge after storage and shipping. The Apollo N3 boot sequence checks cell voltage against a minimum threshold before allowing full startup. If the resting voltage is below that threshold — typically under 10.5V for an 11.1V three-cell pack — the device halts mid-boot. Charge the battery fully before the first installation, then allow the device to boot without touching the power button.

Charge indicator not reaching 100% on the first charge cycle

On the first charge, the Apollo N3's charge IC applies a conservative current limit to a new cell. This extends the time to full charge and sometimes leaves the indicator stuck at 95–99% for an extended period. The cell is not faulty — the charge IC re-calibrates after one full charge-discharge cycle. Run the battery down to the low-battery alarm, recharge fully to 12.6V, and the indicator should read correctly from the second cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Apollo N3 is showing a low battery alarm right after I charged the new replacement — did I get a faulty cell?

This happens on the first cycle with a new cell. The Apollo N3's BMS compares the cell's voltage profile against a stored OEM baseline, and a fresh cell hasn't built that profile yet. Run one full charge-discharge cycle — drain to the low-battery alarm, then charge uninterrupted to completion. After that cycle, the alarm threshold recalibrates and the warning clears.

The Apollo N3 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat unused for several weeks — is the cell dead?

Extended storage causes Li-ion cells to self-discharge, and the Apollo N3 will refuse to boot if the pack drops below roughly 10.5V — the BMS treats anything lower as an unsafe cell and blocks startup. Connect the charger and leave it for at least two hours before attempting to power on. If the charge indicator shows activity, the cell is recovering; a full charge will bring it back to normal operating voltage.

The Apollo N3 is shutting off unexpectedly during use, but the battery shows plenty of charge on the indicator — what's causing it?

In the first ten cycles, a new cell's internal resistance is higher than its settled value, which causes voltage to sag under the Apollo N3's operating load. When the sag crosses the BMS low-voltage cutoff, the device shuts off even though the resting voltage looks fine. This stabilises as the cell conditions through use. Complete at least five full charge-discharge cycles before relying on the battery in a clinical setting.
