This 3.7V 1600mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces part number JH103450 in the Levana Palm and Jena baby monitor parent units. It powers the handheld receiver that displays the live camera feed and handles audio. Swap it in when the original no longer holds enough charge to get through a monitoring session.

The unit simply needs to re-establish the 2.4GHz link with the camera. Hold both units within one metre of each other and use the Channel or Pair button on the camera base to push a new pairing handshake to the parent unit. Once the signal icon appears steady on the parent unit screen, the link is restored.

Night vision cuts out on the camera feed after fitting a new battery

The IR LEDs in the camera unit draw from the camera's own supply — but the parent unit's display backlight and radio receiver draw hard from this battery. If you power on immediately after fitting the battery before it has taken any charge, the parent unit display can dim or glitch under load, which shows up as a corrupted or dark night-vision feed.
