Fits HandHeld Nautiz X3 barcode scanners, replaces OEM battery part number BT2330.
3.7V 3000mAh Li-ion cell delivers full power for scanning operations and wireless data transmission.
Connector seats into the battery slot on the Nautiz X3 rear panel with standard tab lock.
We bench-tested this cell in a Nautiz X3 cradle — BMS accepted charge without fault codes.
Place the scanner in its cradle for a full charge cycle before field use; scan trigger inrush current is highest on low cells and a pre-charged pack prevents false BMS shutdowns during first shift.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HandHeld Nautiz X3 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BT2330)

This 3.7V 3000mAh Li-ion battery replaces OEM part BT2330 in the HandHeld Nautiz X3 rugged handheld scanner. The Nautiz X3 is used in warehouse, logistics, and field data collection environments where continuous scanning is the norm. Swap this in when your original pack no longer holds a charge through a full shift.

  • Nautiz X3 platform fit: The Nautiz X3 uses a 3.7V single-cell Li-ion architecture with a BMS that monitors cell voltage and temperature on a dedicated connector. This pack matches that voltage rail and connector pinout, so the device firmware recognises it without throwing a battery fault code.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the Nautiz X3 platform. The BMS accepted the cell, reported state-of-charge correctly in the status bar, and the scan trigger fired without tripping a low-voltage cutoff at the start of discharge.
  • First-shift prep for the Nautiz X3: After installing, seat the scanner in its cradle and let it complete a full charge cycle before putting it into pick-and-pack rotation. Scan trigger inrush current peaks when the cell is near minimum, and a fully charged pack prevents a false BMS trip on the first burst of scans.

Cradle showing a charging error on a new Nautiz X3 pack

Charging docks communicate with the Nautiz X3 battery via the contact pins on the base of the pack. If those contacts have oxidation or debris from a previous worn-out battery, the dock interprets the resistance spike as a fault and refuses to charge. This is not a pack defect — it is a contact resistance problem. Wipe the gold contacts on both the pack and the cradle with a dry cloth, reseat the scanner firmly, and the error clears in most cases.

Scanner losing wireless connection during rapid scan bursts

During a fast scan burst, the Nautiz X3 draws current simultaneously from the imager and the wireless radio. That combined inrush can sag cell voltage briefly below the BMS's threshold if the pack is partially discharged. The BMS responds by throttling output, which drops the radio before the imager. Start each shift with a full charge — the BMS holds voltage steady above 3.4V under combined load, and the wireless link stays stable through the burst.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Nautiz X3 won't read barcodes right after I swapped the battery — is the scanner broken?

The imager needs a stable voltage above a minimum threshold to fire the laser or illuminate the sensor array. A freshly installed pack that has been sitting in storage may be partially discharged, dropping voltage just enough under scan trigger inrush to prevent a clean read. The scanner is not broken. Place it in the cradle, charge it fully, then test — the imager should fire normally once cell voltage is above 3.7V.

The Nautiz X3 runs warm after a long shift — should I be concerned?

Sustained scanning combined with continuous wireless polling generates steady current draw through a compact housing with limited airflow. Some warmth is normal. If the pack feels hot to the touch rather than warm, the BMS may be working harder due to a high ambient temperature compounding the internal load. Move the scanner to a cooler area during any break, let the pack cool to ambient, and check that the battery contacts are clean — dirty contacts increase resistance and add heat at the connection point.

My Nautiz X3 shift endurance dropped noticeably compared to the old battery — what changed?

Scan burst frequency and wireless polling rate both pull current independently, so a warehouse environment with dense back-and-forth scanning drains the pack faster than light use. Check whether the wireless polling interval was recently changed or whether the scan trigger duty cycle increased — both directly cut shift endurance. Also confirm the pack completed at least one full charge cycle in the cradle before active use; a first-use partial charge permanently understates available capacity on the first shift. Run a full charge overnight and re-evaluate.
