This 10.8V, 4400mAh (47.52Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Lenovo 3000 G410, G400 14001, G400 2048, and related G400 models. It fits the same connector and BMS handshake as the factory cell. Install it when the original no longer holds adequate charge or fails to power the laptop at all.
- G400 and G410 platform fit: These models share a common 10.8V three-cell rail, the same physical connector, and an identical BMS communication protocol — which is why one cell covers the full range without voltage or pinout conflicts.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, full discharge to hibernate cutoff, and a second full charge cycle. The BMS reported correct voltage at each stage and did not trigger any protection cutoffs under normal load.

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a gauge bug. Windows shows this battery as 47Wh but the Lenovo system info screen reports a different Wh rating — which one is correct?
The Lenovo power manager reads the Wh value stored in the cell's EEPROM at the factory, which can differ slightly from the actual measured capacity of a replacement cell. The 47.52Wh figure in the product specification is the real electrochemical rating of this cell. The discrepancy is a display artefact caused by an EEPROM value mismatch — it does not affect charging, discharge behaviour, or actual capacity. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle and the system info screen will update to reflect the cell's measured output.
The new battery charges fine but stops at 80% and won't go higher — is the cell faulty?
This is almost always a BIOS-level charge threshold, not a cell fault. Lenovo ships several G-series models with a conservation mode setting active in the firmware that caps charging at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress. Open Lenovo Vantage or the older Lenovo Energy Management utility, locate the battery charge threshold or conservation mode toggle, and set the maximum charge to 100%. Once that setting is saved, the next charge cycle will reach full capacity.
