Fits LifeTec LT9326 and replaces OEM part numbers A44, 21-91026-50, 21-91081-00, and eight additional Asus OEM part codes.
14.8V and 4400mAh capacity supplies 65.12Wh — restores full portable runtime for the LT9326 after original cell degradation.
Connector is proprietary slide-latch design; tabs orient toward the left wall of the battery slot with firm seating required.
We bench-tested against the OEM cell profile — the BMS accepted charge current normally and held voltage under sustained CPU load.
After installation, discharge fully to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LifeTec LT9326 / LT5061 Series — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (A44)

This is a 14.8V, 4400mAh (65.12Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the LifeTec LT9326 and LT5061 series notebooks, along with the LT5214 and LT5218 and sixteen additional LifeTec models that share the same battery bay and connector. It matches the original A44 part number and fits the standard battery slot without modification. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge or the laptop will not run unplugged.

  • LT9326 / LT5061 platform fit: These LifeTec models share the same 14.8V four-cell architecture, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — which is why one replacement covers the full range. The charge controller in each model reads the same EEPROM handshake, so the battery seats and negotiates correctly across all compatible variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge and discharge cycle on a LifeTec-compatible testbed. The BMS negotiated charge correctly, the protection circuit triggered at the expected low-voltage cutoff, and the cell held voltage flat through the mid-range before the expected drop near depletion.
  • First-use cycle on LifeTec notebooks: After installing, let the battery discharge fully to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before using the laptop unplugged. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

Why the LT9326 shuts down at 20–30% remaining after a battery swap

The LifeTec LT9326 uses a fuel gauge IC that calibrates its discharge curve against the original cell's impedance profile. When a new cell is installed, the IC is still tracking the old curve and misjudges the voltage cliff — it calls shutdown early because the modelled remaining capacity no longer matches the new cell's actual behaviour. Under full CPU and display load, the voltage sag is steeper than the IC expects, triggering the low-voltage protection cutoff while the gauge still shows charge remaining. Running two to three full discharge-to-hibernate-then-full-charge cycles forces the IC to re-map the curve against the new cell. After calibration, the shutdown point shifts back to the correct low-voltage threshold, typically around 10.8V under load.

BIOS showing wrong Wh rating in system info after installing this cell

The Wh figure the BIOS reports comes from EEPROM data written to the battery controller — it reflects the rated value stored in firmware, not a live measurement of actual cell capacity. If the displayed Wh differs from the 65.12Wh spec, the BIOS is reading a cached value from the old battery or has not yet completed a learn cycle against the new cell. This does not affect charging or discharge behaviour — the protection circuit operates on voltage thresholds, not the EEPROM Wh value. To force a refresh, complete one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, then recheck the BIOS battery information screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

The LifeTec notebook shows the new battery as "unknown" or 0% in Windows right after installing — what causes that?

The Windows fuel gauge IC has not yet read the new cell's EEPROM data correctly — this happens when the BIOS battery learn cycle has not run since the swap. It is not a fault with the replacement cell. Discharge the laptop fully until it hibernates, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. After that cycle completes, restart the laptop and the OS will report the correct charge state.

The charge stops climbing and sits stuck at the same percentage for a long time mid-charge on the LT9326 — is the cell faulty?

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against the new cell's charge curve, not a cell fault. The IC loses its reference point after a cell swap and re-learns the charge profile in stages, which causes the percentage to plateau temporarily. It resolves after two or three full charge cycles. Let the battery charge to 100% without unplugging — do not interrupt the cycle or the IC has to restart its calibration from the same point.

After a few weeks, the battery percentage jumps around wildly and does not match actual remaining charge — what is happening?

The fuel gauge IC needs calibration cycles against the new cell to build an accurate discharge model. If the first few uses after installation were shallow partial charges, the IC never mapped the full curve and its estimates drift. Run a full discharge to hibernate cutoff followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100% — repeat this two to three times. The gauge accuracy stabilises once the IC has enough full-cycle data to anchor its capacity estimate at both ends of the voltage range.
