Fits Ninebot MAX G30 and MAX G30 Max scooters; replaces OEM part number NEE1006-M.
36V 10400mAh lithium-ion pack delivers 374.4Wh to the motor; restores full range on aged batteries.
Battery slides into the deck slot with connector facing forward; locking tab seats flush against the frame.
We bench-tested the BMS under full motor load on flat ground and hill starts; no cutout below 30% charge.
On first ride after installation, accelerate gradually up any incline — the BMS current threshold sits lower until cells warm to operating range.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ninebot MAX G30 Series — 36V Li-ion Replacement Battery (NEE1006-M)

This is a 36V 10400mAh (374.4Wh) Li-ion battery for the Ninebot MAX G30 and MAX G30 Max electric scooters. It replaces the original pack when capacity has faded or the battery no longer holds a usable charge. Voltage, connector, and BMS communication protocol match the G30 platform directly.

  • MAX G30 and G30 Max fitment: Both models run the same 36V battery rail, use the same physical housing format, and communicate over the same BMS data line. One battery part number covers both variants without any adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge cycles on a G30 deck and confirmed the BMS handshake completed correctly, charge acceptance held stable across repeated cycles, and the protection circuits tripped at the expected overcurrent threshold.
  • First charge after cold storage: If the scooter has sat unused through winter, charge the battery slowly on the standard G30 charger before the first ride. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and pushing current through them below 10°C causes lithium plating on the anode that permanently reduces capacity.

BMS cutting out during hill start on the G30

Hill starts pull peak current through the motor controller in a short burst. If the battery state of charge is low, internal resistance rises and the voltage sag during that burst can trip the BMS overcurrent cutout before the wheel finishes accelerating. This is not a faulty battery — it is the protection circuit doing its job. Charge the pack above 50% before tackling steep inclines and the cutout behaviour stops.

Charger LED stays green and won't begin charging after storage

Standard G30 chargers have a minimum acceptance voltage below which they will not start a charge cycle. After extended storage, cell voltage can drop below roughly 30V and the charger reads the pack as fully charged or faulted rather than depleted. Connecting a compatible lithium recovery charger to bring the pack back above 31V is enough for the standard charger to then recognise and accept the battery normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Ninebot MAX G30 cuts out on steep hills even with a new battery — what's causing that?

Hill starts draw a spike of current that can exceed the BMS overcurrent threshold, especially when the battery is below 40% charge — the lower the state of charge, the higher the internal resistance, and the harder the voltage sags during that initial motor surge. The BMS interprets that sag as an unsafe draw and cuts the circuit to protect the cells. Charge above 50% before any hill riding and keep your speed low at the start of the climb to reduce peak draw.

My G30 range dropped noticeably during winter — is the battery failing?

No — Li-ion cells lose between 15% and 25% of usable capacity below 5°C because lower temperatures slow the electrochemical reaction inside the cell. The battery is not permanently damaged; capacity returns once the pack warms up. Store the scooter indoors when the temperature drops below 5°C, and let the battery reach room temperature before riding to recover close to rated range.

After months of storage, my G30 shows a full charge indicator but the scooter barely moves — what happened?

If the pack self-discharged below the BMS low-voltage cutoff during storage, the BMS locks the output to prevent cell damage, and the scooter may show misleading status indicators rather than a clear fault. Check cell pack voltage directly — if it reads below 30V, the BMS has shut the output down. Use a lithium recovery charger to bring the pack voltage above 31V, then reconnect the standard G30 charger to complete a full cycle before riding.
