My IXO keeps stalling halfway through a job even with a full charge — is the battery dying or is it the tool?

On a single-cell 3.6V pack this size, the most likely cause is voltage sag under load — the cell drops below the cutoff threshold during a long driving sequence and the tool shuts down as a protection response, even though the battery reads "full" at rest. We see this most often in older cells that have lost capacity through shallow cycling, which is the IXO's typical use pattern — short bursts, never fully discharged.
