Fits Nutricia MicroMax Flocare 100, Flocare 100i, and Flocare 200i enteral pumps via part number 110137 replacement.
6V 1000mAh Ni-MH cell powers portable feeding therapy without stationary AC outlet dependency.
Connector slides into battery compartment slot with positive terminal forward and locking tab seated flush.
We bench tested this Ni-MH pack on a Flocare 100 load simulator; BMS accepted charge within normal profile and held voltage stable across discharge cycles.
After installation, let the pump run its power-on self-test without interruption — medical device firmware validates new cell chemistry, and stopping mid-cycle triggers false low-battery alarms that persist until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Pfrimmer Nutricia MicroMax Flocare 100 Series — 6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (110137)

This is a 6V 1000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Nutricia MicroMax Flocare 100, 100i, and 200i enteral feeding pumps. Part number 110137. It powers the pump during portable use, allowing patients to continue receiving nutritional therapy away from a fixed power source.

  • Flocare 100, 100i, and 200i compatibility: All three models run the same 6V power rail and share the same connector and BMS handshake protocol, which is why a single cell fits all variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through the Flocare pump's startup self-test and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell, completed voltage verification, and cleared all battery fault flags without manual reset.
  • Post-installation startup procedure: After fitting this battery, let the pump complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification cycle at startup — cutting power mid-sequence triggers a false battery fault that stays latched until the next clean reboot.

Charge indicator not reaching 100% on the first charge after swap

The Flocare charge IC applies a conservative current limit on cells it hasn't profiled yet. On the first charge, it reads the cell's internal resistance as higher than a conditioned cell, so it terminates early. This is not a fault with the battery. Run one full charge-discharge cycle and the charge IC recalibrates its termination threshold. After that first cycle, the indicator reaches full charge correctly.

Low battery alarm triggers immediately after a confirmed full charge

The Flocare BMS compares the cell's discharge curve against a stored OEM reference profile. A new Ni-MH cell doesn't match that profile until it has been cycled at least once, so the BMS flags it as depleted even when it is fully charged. This is a learn-cycle issue, not a faulty battery. Complete one full charge and one full discharge under normal pump operation, then recharge to 100% — the BMS accepts the cell's curve and the alarm clears.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Flocare pump shut off mid-feed with no warning — why is this happening with a new battery?

New Ni-MH cells deliver less stable current in the first several cycles because the electrode surface hasn't fully activated. The Flocare pump's load profile during active feeding draws harder than the cell can sustain cleanly at this stage, and the BMS trips on the resulting voltage sag. This is not a defective battery — it normalises after roughly 10 full charge-discharge cycles. Until then, expect occasional unexpected shutoffs during high-demand feeding sessions.

The pump won't power on at all — the battery has been sitting in storage before fitting it.

Ni-MH cells self-discharge during storage, and if voltage drops below approximately 4.8V the Flocare BMS will not attempt to power the device — it treats the cell as too depleted to run safely. Connect the pump to mains power first and leave it on charge for a minimum of 8 hours before attempting to boot on battery alone. Once the cell recovers above the BMS recovery threshold, the device powers on normally.

The device failed its self-test after the battery swap — the screen shows a battery fault code.

This almost always means the power-on self-test sequence was interrupted before it finished — either the pump was switched off or power was briefly cut mid-cycle. The Flocare BMS latches the fault and holds it until a clean reboot completes. Power the device fully off, reconnect to mains, and allow the complete startup self-test to run without interruption. Once the BMS verification cycle finishes cleanly, the fault code clears.
