Fits Prestigio PSP3507 DUO dual-SIM smartphone; replaces OEM battery PSP3507 DUO.
3.7V 1800mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 6.66Wh to the modem and display stack.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot; no locking tab or special orientation required.
We bench-tested this cell at discharge loads matching modem and screen draw; BMS accepted the pack without fault codes on first insertion.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Prestigio PSP3507 DUO — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 1800mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Prestigio PSP3507 DUO and MultiPhone PSP3507 DUO. It replaces the original cell when capacity has dropped through normal charge cycling and the phone can no longer hold adequate charge through a day of use. Capacity is rated at 6.66Wh, matching the original cell specification.

  • PSP3507 DUO and MultiPhone PSP3507 DUO compatibility: Both variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — the same cell works across the entire PSP3507 DUO platform without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the PSP3507 DUO, confirmed BMS handshake, and verified the charge IC accepted the cell without triggering a fault or cutoff event.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable any fast charge option and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference against the new cell's discharge curve before higher charge currents are applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the PSP3507 DUO after cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it mapped from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff at lower state-of-charge than the old cell did, so the phone cuts power before the reported percentage reaches zero. The BMS is doing its job — it sees cell voltage drop below the safe floor under modem or display load and shuts down. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter reference and the shutdowns stop.

Phone warm near the battery compartment during the first charge

A fresh Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several charge cycles. The charge IC pushes current into higher resistance, and that resistance converts some energy to heat. This is normal on cycle one and two — not a fault. If the phone is still noticeably warm by cycle three, check that the USB cable and charger output match the rated 5V input. Warmth that persists past the first two cycles points to a charger output issue, not the cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

The PSP3507 DUO shows 40% battery then shuts off completely — is the new cell faulty?

The cell itself is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC calibrated its percentage readings against the old, degraded cell and hasn't mapped the new cell's discharge curve yet. Under modem or screen load, voltage drops faster than the IC expects, and the BMS cuts power to protect the cell before the display hits 0%. Run one complete discharge — let the phone die naturally — then charge to 100% without interruption, and the shutdowns will stop.

The battery percentage on the PSP3507 DUO jumps around erratically after fitting the replacement — sometimes 60%, then 45% two minutes later.

The coulomb counter inside the fuel gauge IC is still using reference data from the original cell. A new cell has different charge and discharge characteristics, so the IC's estimates are unreliable until it has a full cycle to recalculate against. Drain the phone completely until it powers off on its own, then charge to 100% in a single uninterrupted session. The readings stabilise once the IC has one full cycle of real data from the new cell.

Fast charging stopped working on the PSP3507 DUO after fitting this battery — the phone only trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC often defaults to a low-current trickle mode because the BMS on the replacement cell hasn't yet completed its handshake with the phone's USB charge controller. This is a protection behaviour, not a defect. Let the phone complete one full standard charge to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — the fast charge protocol should re-negotiate at that point. If trickle charging persists past the second cycle, test with a different cable rated for the correct current output.
