Fits Asus VivoBook E12 E203NA-FD020TS and 26 related models; replaces OEM part number C21N1807.
7.7V, 4900mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers 37.73Wh to sustain this ultraportable 12-inch notebook through full workdays.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot; locking tab engages on the left side when fully inserted.
We ran full discharge cycles on the E203NA platform; BMS reported voltage stable across load transitions with no early cutoff.
After installation, run one complete discharge to hibernation-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warnings that appear after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus VivoBook E12 E203NA Series — 7.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C21N1807)

This is a 7.7V, 4900mAh (37.73Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Asus VivoBook E12 E203NA-FD020TS and a range of related E203 and C223NA models. It slots into the same bay as the original C21N1807 cell and connects via the same 2-cell BMS board. Voltage and connector match the OEM spec exactly.

  • E203 and C223NA platform fit: These models share a 2-cell 7.7V Li-Polymer architecture with the same physical footprint (217.10 × 154.58 × 6.50mm), identical connector pinout, and the same BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between E203NA, E203MAH, E203NA-FD026T, and C223NA-1A variants works because the charge controller on the board expects the same cell chemistry and voltage rail.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on an E203NA board. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, the fuel gauge IC communicated correctly over SMBus, and charge current stepped down at the expected voltage threshold near top-of-charge.
  • Post-install calibration for the E203NA: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge down to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The E203NA fuel gauge IC needs this cycle to re-anchor its capacity estimate against the new cell — skipping it causes the health indicator in MyASUS or Windows Battery Report to flag a false low-capacity warning for weeks.

BIOS reporting battery health as poor immediately after swap

The E203NA stores learned capacity data in the battery's EEPROM. When you install a new cell, the BIOS reads the blank or mismatched EEPROM and flags the battery as degraded before any charge cycle has run. This is a data mismatch, not a cell fault. One complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% rewrites the fuel gauge reference point. After that single learn cycle, the health warning clears and the reported Wh value aligns with the 37.73Wh rating of this cell.

VivoBook E203NA shutting down at 20–30% charge shown

This happens when the fuel gauge IC still holds calibration data from the old, degraded cell. The percentage reading looks valid, but the actual cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold under combined CPU and display load before the gauge reaches zero. The laptop cuts power because the voltage cliff arrives earlier than the stale calibration expects. Force a full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption — this re-syncs the gauge to the new cell's actual voltage curve and eliminates the early shutdown.

Frequently Asked Questions

MyASUS app shows the new battery at 0% health even though it just charged to 100% — is the cell faulty?

It is not a faulty cell. The MyASUS health score pulls capacity data from the battery's EEPROM, and a fresh cell ships with blank or factory-default values that the BIOS reads as degraded. Run one full discharge down to the point where the laptop hibernates on its own, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single learn cycle rewrites the EEPROM reference and the health score corrects itself — no further action needed.

Windows Battery Report is showing the wrong Wh rating — it lists a much lower number than 37.73Wh on the new cell.

Windows reads the Wh figure from the EEPROM on the battery board, not from the physical cell chemistry. A new replacement cell ships with a rated-capacity value in firmware that may not yet match what the fuel gauge IC has measured from actual cycles. After two full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles, the fuel gauge IC updates its calculated full-charge capacity and Windows Battery Report will reflect a figure close to 37.73Wh.

The charge stops climbing and holds at around 80% on the E203NA — it will not go higher no matter how long it stays plugged in.

The E203NA BIOS includes a battery charge limit setting that caps charging at 80% when Battery Health Charging mode is active. Check MyASUS under Power and open the Battery Health Charging section — if it is set to "Balanced" or "Maximum Lifespan," switch it to "Full Capacity" and reconnect the charger. The battery will then charge past 80% to 100%, confirming the cell itself has no fault.
