Fits Fujitsu LifeBook C2210, C2220, C2230, C2240 and replaces OEM part FPCBP65 or FPCBP65AP.
Delivers 14.4V at 4400mAh capacity — enough voltage and charge storage to power this notebook's CPU and display stack through a full workday.
Connector slides onto the stock battery slot with a single locking tab at the rear; orientation is keyed and will not force.
We bench-tested this pack against the C2210 mainboard — the BMS negotiated handshake on first insertion and charged to full capacity without throttle or fault codes.
After installation, discharge the laptop to sleep-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this run resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fujitsu LifeBook C2210 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (FPCBP65)

This is a 14.4V, 4400mAh (63.36Wh) Li-ion battery that replaces the FPCBP65 and FPCBP65AP cells in the Fujitsu LifeBook C2210, C2220, C2230, and C2240 notebooks. It restores portable operation when the original cell has degraded past usable capacity. Voltage, connector, and BMS communication protocol match the original Fujitsu specification.

  • LifeBook C2210–C2240 platform fit: These four models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and FPCBP65 part number. The BMS handshake protocol is identical across the series, so one cell works across all four without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a C2210 unit. The BMS accepted the cell, reported state-of-charge correctly after two calibration cycles, and held voltage under CPU and display load without triggering a premature cutoff.
  • Post-install calibration on the C2210: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

Why the LifeBook C2210 reports poor battery health immediately after a cell swap

The C2210 BIOS reads health data stored in the old cell's EEPROM during every boot. When a new cell installs, that EEPROM contains either stale data or values the BIOS does not yet recognise. The system flags this as a fault — not because the new cell is defective, but because no learn cycle has run yet. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% writes fresh data into the learn cycle and clears the warning. After two to three cycles, the health indicator stabilises to reflect actual cell condition.

LifeBook C2210 shutting down at 20–30% battery shown

This happens when the cell cannot sustain voltage under combined CPU and display load — the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the fuel gauge reaches zero. On the C2210, this usually means the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's discharge curve. Run two full discharge cycles to hibernate-cutoff without interruption. After recalibration, the gauge tracks the actual voltage cliff and the early shutdown stops. If it persists beyond three full cycles, check that the charger is delivering the correct 16V input.

Frequently Asked Questions

My LifeBook C2210 shows 0% or "unknown battery" right after I installed this — is the cell dead?

No. The BIOS is reading EEPROM data from the previous cell and has not yet completed a battery learn cycle with the new one. Run the laptop down to hibernate on battery only, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The 0% or unknown reading clears after one to two full cycles as the BIOS writes fresh data.

Windows is showing this battery as 63Wh but the system info panel says something different — which is right?

The 63.36Wh figure in Windows comes directly from the cell's EEPROM, which reflects the rated chemistry value. Some system info panels on the C2210 display a cached Wh figure carried over from the old cell's last reported state. After two full charge-discharge cycles, the reported Wh value in both Windows Battery Report and the system panel will align to the actual cell rating.

The new battery stopped charging at around 80% and won't go higher — is the cell faulty?

This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. The C2210 BIOS can engage a charge ceiling if it has not completed a learn cycle with the new cell, or if a battery conservation setting is active in the BIOS or power management software. Check BIOS under Power Management for any charge limit setting and disable it. Then run a full uninterrupted charge — the cell should reach 100% and hold it.
