Fits Skull Gold 4-head shaver, restores original 3.7V rotary motor function when OEM battery depletes.
3.7V, 1600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full torque to the four rotating heads from first charge onward.
Micro-connector snaps into the charging dock slot with a single locking tab — orientation-specific, no force required.
We bench-tested this cell in the Skull Gold dock; BMS accepted full charge cycle with no fault codes or cutoff lag.
After water exposure during rinsing, fully dry the charging port contacts with a lint-free cloth before inserting the battery — trapped moisture on the dock pins triggers BMS protection shutdown, which users often mistake for a dead cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Skull Gold 4-Head Shaver — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell inside the Skull Gold 4-head rotary shaver. It fits directly into the shaver housing and restores power to the multi-head cutting mechanism. No OEM part number is published for this model — match by physical dimensions: 50.00 × 18.50 × 18.20mm.

  • Skull Gold 4-head shaver fit: The 4-head layout draws simultaneous power across multiple rotary motors. The battery's 3.7V nominal output and 1600mAh capacity match the original cell's voltage rail, so the shaver's speed controller reads accurate charge state from the first use.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and load discharge on the bench. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low voltage and accepted charge without triggering protection mode — no false fault flags reported by the shaver's indicator.
  • Port drying before charge: The Skull Gold 4-head shaver is used near water daily. Before connecting the charger, dry the charging port completely with a cloth and let it air for two minutes. Moisture bridging the charging contacts triggers a BMS protection trip the shaver displays as a dead battery — not a charging error.

Capacity fade from daily partial charging on the Skull Gold shaver

Li-ion cells in compact shavers degrade faster when cycled in shallow bands — charged every morning before the battery drops below 50%. Each partial cycle counts toward total cycle life, and the cell's full capacity shrinks over time. The shaver's charge indicator calibrates against the original capacity, so a faded cell causes the indicator to read full quickly and drop to empty faster than expected. Replacing the cell resets that drift and restores accurate state-of-charge reporting.

Shaver motor speed dropping before the indicator shows low

Under the load of four rotary heads, the battery's voltage sags momentarily with each cutting stroke. As the cell ages, internal resistance rises and that sag deepens — the motor slows noticeably while the indicator still shows two bars or more. The BMS has not yet reached cutoff voltage, so the device reports no fault. Fitting a new cell with lower internal resistance eliminates the sag and restores consistent motor speed across the full discharge cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Skull Gold shaver slow down mid-shave even though the battery indicator isn't empty?

The four rotary heads create a combined load spike with each stroke, pulling the cell voltage down briefly — this is called voltage sag. As the original battery ages, rising internal resistance makes that sag deeper and longer, slowing the motors before the BMS triggers low-battery cutoff. The indicator reads average voltage, not instantaneous load response, so it still shows charge remaining. Replacing the cell restores the low internal resistance needed to hold voltage steady under motor load.

The shaver stopped charging after I rinsed it — is the battery dead or is it the port?

Most likely the charging contacts, not the battery. Water or cleaning product residue bridging the charging pins causes the BMS to trip into protection mode, and the shaver reports this the same way it reports a dead battery. Dry the port thoroughly with a cloth, leave it open to air for at least two minutes, then reconnect the charger. If the charge indicator still shows no activity after five minutes on charge, the BMS protection trip has latched and the cell will need replacement.

The shaver dock contacts look dull and slightly green — could that be stopping the charge?

Yes. Oxidation on the dock contacts from soap, water minerals, or cleaning sprays creates enough resistance to prevent the charge current from reaching the battery. The shaver shows no charging activity even with a healthy battery inside. Clean the dock pins with a dry cotton swab, and if oxidation is heavy, a brief pass with isopropyl alcohol on the swab removes the residue — let it dry fully before docking the shaver again.
