This is a 6V, 6400mAh alkaline replacement battery for the ATS Electro-Lube 250 Ultimate luber and 500 Ultimate luber. It replaces OEM part MD500BATPACK-P and fits directly into the luber's battery compartment. The pack powers the dispensing motor and control electronics through field maintenance cycles and industrial lubrication rounds.

Why the Ultimate luber stops mid-dispense cycle even with a new battery installed

The dispensing motor draws a sharp current spike at start — higher than the steady-state run current — and alkaline cells are sensitive to instantaneous load. If the grease path is partially blocked or the ambient temperature drops below 5°C, internal resistance in the alkaline stack rises enough that terminal voltage sags below the controller's cutoff point during that start spike. The unit then shuts off, even though the cells still hold most of their charge.
