Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ariete 2718 / Pro 2713 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (AS00000334)
This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for Ariete cordless stick vacuums. It fits models 00P271310AR0, 00P271810AR0, 2718, and Pro 2713/1, among others. OEM part number AS00000334 confirms the correct BMS handshake and connector alignment for these vacuums.
- 2718 and Pro 2713 series compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V motor rail, connector housing, and BMS communication protocol. A single cell platform covers the full range — no adapter or modification needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on an Ariete 2718 chassis. The BMS initialised on first charge without fault codes, current draw through the motor start cycle stayed within the cell's rated discharge curve, and the protection circuit held stable across repeated full discharge-to-recharge cycles.
- Dock charging habit on this vacuum: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. These cells develop capacity fade significantly faster under continuous trickle charge than when charged only to full and then removed. Charge when depleted, disconnect when full.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
The indicator LED on this vacuum reads state-of-charge at rest voltage, not under load. When the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted, motor current draw rises sharply and terminal voltage sags below what the indicator reflects. The BMS reads that voltage sag as low charge and begins limiting output — even with charge remaining. Clean the filter first, then retest under the same floor load.
Motor cutting out mid-use and recovering after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead cell. Sustained restricted airflow — typically from a clogged post-motor filter or full dust container — forces the motor to pull more current than the protection circuit allows. The BMS trips, disconnects output, and resets once current draw drops back to safe levels. Clear the blockage, check the secondary filter behind the motor, and confirm the container is emptied before assuming the battery is at fault.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Ariete 2718 used to run much longer — could the replacement battery already have reduced capacity?
If the vacuum is docked continuously between uses, yes — trickle charge from permanent dock connection is the most common cause of early capacity fade on these cells. Remove the battery from the dock once it reaches full charge and only reconnect when it's depleted. If fade persists after correcting the charging habit, check whether the post-motor filter is partially blocked, as restricted airflow forces higher motor draw and shortens effective run time without any cell degradation at all.
The Ariete vacuum powers on but suction drops noticeably after a few minutes on carpet — is that a battery issue?
Usually not the battery directly. On thick or high-pile carpet, the brush roll load increases motor current draw, which pulls terminal voltage down faster under sustained high resistance. If the filter is even partially clogged, that draw climbs further and the BMS begins throttling output to stay within safe limits. Clean both the primary and secondary filters, clear any brush roll tangling, then retest on the same carpet — voltage at the motor terminals should stabilise above 12.5V under normal load.
The replacement battery won't charge on my Ariete — the charger light doesn't change from red to green.
The Ariete charger expects a BMS handshake before switching to the full charge cycle. If the cell arrived deeply discharged from storage, the BMS may have tripped into a locked low-voltage state and isn't responding to the charger. Connect the battery to the charger and leave it for 30–45 minutes without interruption — most BMS units on this platform will accept a recovery trickle and re-initialise. If the charger light still hasn't shifted after that period, check the connector pins on the battery for any debris or bent contacts before drawing further conclusions.
