Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Concept VR3000 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR18650 MH1-4S1P)
This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the Concept VR3000, VR3110, and VR3115 cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part numbers INR18650 MH1-4S1P and BYD INR18650 M26-4S1P. The pack restores full motor power and suction to vacuums where the original cell has degraded.
- VR3000, VR3110, VR3115 compatibility: These three models share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them is direct — no firmware or hardware difference affects how the pack communicates with the charger.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge cycles on the VR3000 platform and monitored the BMS under simulated motor load. Cell balancing activated correctly, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the overcurrent threshold before recovering without fault codes.
- Dock charging habit on Concept stick vacs: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock permanently. These vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects — usually caused by a partially blocked filter or full dust canister. The restricted airflow makes the motor work harder, pulling the cell voltage down faster than a clean-running motor would. The BMS reads this as a depleted pack and throttles output even though remaining capacity exists. Clear the filter and empty the canister first; if suction recovers, the battery is not the root cause.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty cell. Sustained restricted suction — usually a clogged HEPA filter or a partial blockage at the brush head — forces the motor to draw current above the pack's rated threshold. The BMS shuts the output to protect the cells, then resets once the pack cools slightly. Check the filter and brush roll for obstructions before assuming the battery is at fault; a clean filter keeps draw within the 14.4V pack's rated current envelope.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my Concept VR3000 lose suction halfway through cleaning even though the battery light still shows full?
The battery indicator on the VR3000 reads cell voltage, not remaining capacity directly — and a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw excess current, which drags cell voltage down faster than normal. The BMS interprets the voltage sag as a low pack and reduces motor output before the indicator catches up. Clean the HEPA filter and empty the dust canister, then retest. If suction improves, the filter was the cause, not the battery.
My Concept VR3110 cuts out after a few seconds of use on carpet, then starts again if I wait — what's happening?
This is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent event, not a dead cell. Heavy carpet or a brush-roll blockage forces the motor into a sustained high-draw state that exceeds the pack's rated threshold, so the protection circuit cuts output. After a short rest, the BMS resets and allows the motor to restart. Remove any hair or debris wrapped around the brush roll, check for blockages at the nozzle, and confirm the filter is clean — then retest at the 14.4V pack's normal operating load.
My replacement battery for the Concept VR3000 won't charge — the charger shows no light activity at all?
Some chargers expect a minimum cell voltage before initiating the charge cycle. If this pack was stored deeply discharged, the BMS may have locked out to protect the cells, and the charger sees too low a voltage to begin. Connect the pack to the charger and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes — some chargers deliver a low trickle to recover a locked-out BMS before switching to full charge. If the charger still shows no activity after that, verify the dock contacts are clean and making firm contact with the battery terminals.
