Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dreame G9 / G10 / P2010 Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (3027689)
This is a 25.2V Li-ion battery rated at 2400mAh (60.48Wh), built to fit the Dreame G9, G10, P2010, and P2045 cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part numbers 3027689, BHR4307GL, and BHR4368GL. If your original battery no longer holds a charge or suction power has dropped off noticeably, this is the direct swap.
- G9, G10, P2010, P2045 compatibility: These models share the same 25.2V battery platform, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. A single battery cell services all of them without adapter or modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the G9 motor platform. The BMS responded correctly to overcurrent conditions, cutting off cleanly under restricted airflow and recovering without fault codes once load was reduced.
- Dock charging habit on Dreame stick vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Dreame cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than those charged only when the battery is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
On the G9 and G10, suction can feel weak well before the LED indicates a low cell. This is almost always a motor voltage sag issue, not a battery fault. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws more current than rated to maintain airflow. That extra draw forces the cell voltage down under load, which the BMS reads as a near-depleted pack even when charge level is still above 50%. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is fine.
Motor cuts out mid-session then comes back on
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a blockage — carpet pile, a jammed pickup, or a clogged filter — current draw spikes past the BMS threshold and the pack disconnects to protect the cells. The motor restarts once the BMS resets, usually within a few seconds. Clear any blockage and check that the filter is seated correctly. If trips become frequent with no blockage present, check resting voltage with a multimeter — a healthy 25.2V pack at rest should read between 25.0V and 26.1V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Dreame G9 loses suction halfway through cleaning but the battery light still shows full — what's causing this?
This is motor voltage sag under load, not a capacity problem. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw excess current, which pulls cell voltage down and makes the vacuum feel underpowered even with charge remaining. Remove and clean the filter — if suction returns to normal, the battery is not the issue. If the problem persists after cleaning the filter, check resting pack voltage — it should sit between 25.0V and 26.1V off the charger.
The Dreame G10 battery I just installed isn't charging — the dock light doesn't respond at all.
Some Dreame chargers expect a specific BMS handshake before beginning a charge cycle. If the replacement cell has been stored and its resting voltage has dropped below the charger's activation threshold, the dock may not initiate charging. Try connecting the battery directly to the charger for 60 seconds — some units will kickstart a low cell once the handshake is re-established. If the dock still shows no response, verify resting voltage with a multimeter; anything below 20V may require a trickle charge to recover before the standard charger will engage.
I've had my replacement battery for six months and the runtime has noticeably shortened — I always leave it on the dock when not in use.
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in Dreame cordless vacuums. The charger delivers a low-level trickle charge to maintain 100%, and that sustained top-up voltage degrades the cells faster than normal charge cycles. Remove the battery from the dock once it reaches full charge and only return it when the pack is depleted. From this point forward, charge only when needed — this significantly slows the rate of further capacity loss.
