Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Eufy L50 / L60 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (AK330)
This 14.4V, 3350mAh lithium-ion battery replaces part number AK330 in Eufy cordless stick vacuums. It fits the L50, T2265, L60, and L60 SES, along with eight additional models in the same platform family. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds charge or suction starts dropping well before the indicator shows low.
- L50 and L60 platform compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one part number covers the full range. The replacement cell communicates the same charge and discharge data as the factory unit.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the L60 platform. The BMS held cutoff at the correct lower voltage threshold and did not trip during sustained high-suction draws on bare floor and carpet modes.
- Dock charging habit on the L50 and L60: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. These models trickle charge when docked, and sustained trickle charge accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. When the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted, the motor draws more current than rated. That extra load pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator tracks, so suction weakens while the display still shows adequate charge. Clean the filter and check the brush roll first. If suction normalises after that, the battery is fine — the motor was simply working harder than the cell could sustain without sag.
Motor cuts out briefly then recovers during use
A brief cutout followed by immediate recovery is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty cell. It happens most often when the brush roll jams on carpet fibres or a blockage spikes current draw sharply above the BMS threshold. The BMS cuts the output to protect the cell, then resets within seconds once current normalises. Clear any blockage, check the brush roll for wrapped debris, and confirm the filter is clean — sustained restriction keeps current high enough to trigger repeat trips.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my Eufy L60 lose suction power well before the battery light shows it's low?
The battery indicator tracks state of charge, not motor load — and a restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, dragging cell voltage down faster than the gauge reflects. The result is weak suction with what looks like a full or mid battery. Clean the foam and mesh filters completely, then test again. If suction recovers, the AK330 cell is working correctly — the restricted airflow was causing the voltage sag.
The vacuum motor cuts out for a few seconds then comes back on its own — is the replacement battery faulty?
That self-recovering cutout is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not a defective cell. It typically happens when the brush roll snags carpet fibres or a blockage momentarily drives current above the BMS protection threshold. The BMS resets automatically once the load drops back to normal. Turn the vacuum off, clear the brush roll and any blockage in the suction path, then restart — if the cutout stops repeating, the battery is functioning as expected.
My Eufy L50 battery seems to drain faster than it did a few months ago — what causes that?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of accelerated capacity fade in these vacuums. When the L50 sits docked between every use, the charger maintains a low trickle current that slowly degrades Li-ion cell capacity over weeks. With a new AK330 cell, charge it fully, then remove the vacuum from the dock and only return it when it needs charging again. That single habit change is the most effective way to slow capacity fade on this platform.
