Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaowa C10 / E20 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BRR-1P4S-2600S)
This is a 14.4V 5200mAh Li-ion battery for the Xiaowa C10 and E20 series robotic vacuum cleaners. It replaces OEM part BRR-1P4S-2600S and restores the robot's ability to complete autonomous cleaning cycles. When the original cell degrades, the vacuum either cuts out mid-run or fails to hold a charge long enough to finish a mapped route.
- C10 and E20 platform compatibility: The C10 (C102-00) and E20 (E202-00) share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits both lines because Xiaowa used a common power architecture across this generation of robot vacuums.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on compatible hardware. The BMS communicated correctly with the charger, accepted a full charge without fault codes, and held voltage within spec across multiple depletion cycles.
- Dock charging discipline: Do not leave the Xiaowa on the dock permanently between uses. Continuous trickle charging accelerates capacity fade in this cell chemistry. Charge the robot fully, then remove it from the dock until the next scheduled run.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. When the filter is partially blocked, the suction motor draws more current than rated to maintain airflow. That elevated draw pulls cell voltage down early, causing the robot to reduce motor speed or cut suction before the battery gauge registers low. Clean the filter and check the dustbin before assuming the battery is at fault. A healthy cell under normal motor load holds voltage steady well past the halfway point of a run.
Robot powers on but won't accept a charge after battery swap
If the Xiaowa sits on the dock but the charging indicator never activates after fitting a replacement cell, the BMS may have entered a locked state from deep discharge. This happens when the original battery was left fully depleted for an extended period. Place the robot on the dock and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes without moving it — some BMS units require a low-current pre-charge phase before the main charge cycle triggers. If the indicator still does not activate, verify dock contact pins are clean and making firm contact with the robot's receiver pads. The cell should register above 10V at the terminals before a standard charge cycle will initiate.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Xiaowa keeps stopping mid-clean and then starts again after a few seconds — is this the battery?
This is most likely a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing cell. When the suction path is restricted — blocked filter, full dustbin, or hair wrapped around the brush roll — the motor draws a sustained current spike that triggers the BMS protection circuit, cutting power briefly before resetting. Check the filter and brush assembly first. If the stoppages stop after cleaning those components, the battery is not the cause.
The robot runs for a noticeably shorter time than it used to — even with a new battery fitted
A partially blocked filter forces the suction motor to work harder than its rated draw, burning through the cell faster than normal even when the battery itself is healthy. This makes a new battery appear underperforming when the real cause is restricted airflow. Remove and wash the filter, clear the dustbin, and check the brush roll for debris. After those steps, a full charge on the 5200mAh cell should deliver a noticeably longer run.
My Xiaowa stayed on the dock unused for two months and now the battery won't charge
Extended storage on a depleted cell can drop voltage below the threshold the charger needs to initiate a standard charge cycle. Place the robot on the dock and leave it undisturbed for 30–60 minutes — the BMS on this cell supports a low-current pre-charge recovery mode that slowly raises voltage before the main cycle begins. If the indicator activates after that period, let the charge complete fully before running the robot. If nothing activates at all, measure voltage at the battery terminals — the cell needs to read above 10V before a standard Li-ion charger will engage.
