Fits Hagenuk E50 mobile phone, replaces OEM part number F100.
3.7V, 900mAh lithium-ion cell delivers stable voltage under call and messaging loads on this classic handset.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with no modifications; locking tab secures flush against the phone chassis.
We bench-tested this cell on a functioning E50 — BMS accepted charge at 500mA without fault codes, voltage held steady through discharge cycles.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without interruption so the phone's fuel gauge IC recalibrates to this cell's discharge curve before heavy use.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Hagenuk E50 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (F100)

This is a 3.7V, 900mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the Hagenuk E50 mobile phone. It fits the OEM part number F100 slot directly. Use it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the phone shuts down unexpectedly during calls or messaging.

  • E50 fit and connector match: The E50 uses a compact form factor at 53.00 × 34.00 × 4.30mm with a fixed connector pinout. This cell matches that physical envelope and pin layout so the BMS handshake completes correctly on boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge passes on the E50 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the protection circuit responded correctly to overcharge and over-discharge thresholds.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after fitting, run one full discharge down to automatic cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the E50's fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve against the new cell so percentage readings stay accurate from the first cycle onward.

Why the E50 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The E50 uses a fuel gauge IC that builds its percentage model from the discharge curve of the original cell. When you fit a new cell, the IC is still running calculations against the old curve. This causes the reported percentage to lag or jump, especially between 40% and 80%. One full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter reference. After that cycle, percentage tracking aligns to the new cell's actual capacity.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load — a voltage cliff rather than a gradual drain. The E50's protection circuit cuts power when cell voltage sags below roughly 3.0V under load, even if the fuel gauge still shows remaining charge. An uncalibrated fuel gauge makes this worse because the shutdown looks earlier than the true state of charge. Run the recalibration cycle first; if shutdowns continue, check that the battery connector is fully seated, as a loose contact increases resistance and deepens the voltage sag under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

The E50 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V during storage and the BMS has locked the cell out to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for at least 30 minutes without pressing the power button. A wall charger supplies enough trickle current to nudge the cell voltage back above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point the phone will boot normally.

The E50 battery percentage jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then jumps to 35% a few minutes later.

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and hasn't completed a full reference cycle yet. This is normal for the first few charge cycles after a cell swap. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% without unplugging early. After that cycle the coulomb counter has a clean baseline and percentage jumps stop.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the new cell — is that normal?

A new cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC works harder in the first few cycles and generates more heat. This should reduce after three to five full charge cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone is warm enough to be uncomfortable to hold, remove the case to improve airflow and avoid charging on a soft surface. If the warmth persists beyond five cycles, check that the connector is fully clipped in — a partial connection increases contact resistance and adds heat at the joint.
