Fits Kyocera 7035, 7135, CP 7135, and 7100 smartphones; replaces OEM battery N/A with direct slot compatibility.
3.7V, 1200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers sustained voltage under modem and display load without mid-call dropout.
Connector orientation matches OEM latch—seat fully until the retention tab clicks and battery sits flush against the slot.
We bench-tested this cell across three charge cycles; the BMS accepted standard USB charging without negotiation faults on cycle one.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-to-shutdown and full recharge cycle before resuming normal use—the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate its voltage curve against this cell to stop reporting incorrect percentages.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Kyocera 7035 / 7135 / CP 7135 / 7100 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Kyocera 7035, 7135, CP 7135, and 7100 smartphones. It fits the same battery bay and connects to the same charge circuit as the factory cell. Swap it in when the original no longer holds a charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.

  • 7035 / 7135 / CP 7135 / 7100 compatibility: These four models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.7V nominal voltage rail, and charge IC interface. One cell covers all four without modification or adapter.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the 7135 platform. The BMS accepted charge current from the onboard charge IC on the first cycle and reported state-of-charge to the OS without triggering any protection lockout.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before resuming normal use. This lets the phone's fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step is the leading cause of erratic percentage readings after a cell swap.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Kyocera 7135

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve stored for the old, degraded cell. When the new cell's actual voltage under modem or screen load drops below the IC's predicted floor for that percentage, the phone cuts power before the cell is actually empty. One complete, uninterrupted discharge-to-charge cycle rewrites the coulomb counter baseline. After that cycle, the reported percentage tracks the real cell voltage accurately under load.

Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage drops below 2.5V, the BMS enters a protection lockout state and blocks normal charge current to prevent damage. The phone shows nothing — no boot logo, no charge indicator. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Kyocera 7135 shuts off at around 25% battery — why does this keep happening with the new cell?

The fuel gauge IC calibrated its shutdown threshold against the old cell's worn discharge curve. When the new cell's voltage sags under modem or display load, it crosses that stale threshold early and the phone cuts power. Run one full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. That single cycle resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's actual curve and the early shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my Kyocera 7035 keeps jumping around after I installed the replacement — is the cell faulty?

It's not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating — it lost its reference point when the old cell was removed and is now estimating state-of-charge against an uncalibrated baseline. Percentage jumps and inaccurate readings are normal for the first one to three cycles. Complete one full discharge-to-charge cycle without letting the phone sit at partial charge, and the readings will stabilise as the IC learns the new cell's discharge curve.

My Kyocera 7135 feels warm near the battery while charging after the swap — is that normal?

A new cell has higher internal impedance than a worn one, so the charge IC pushes current into more resistance and generates slightly more heat during the first few charge cycles. The warmth should be mild — noticeable but not hot to the touch. If the phone becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable, remove it from the charger and let it cool before continuing. After two or three full cycles, impedance drops and the warmth during charging reduces noticeably.
