Fits Lenovo PHAB 6.98 tablet models PB1-750, PB1-750N, PB1-750M; replaces OEM part L15D1P32.
3.8V, 4250mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers 16.15Wh — sustains the tablet's display and processor without cutoff.
Connector mounts flat against the internal battery bay; tabs lock into the PB1 series retention clips.
We bench-tested the BMS against the Lenovo fuel gauge IC; cell accepted the charge circuit handshake on first insertion without lockout.
After installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled — lets the fuel gauge recalibrate to the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo PHAB PB1-750 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L15D1P32)

This is a 3.8V, 4250mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Lenovo PHAB 6.98 and PB1-750 series. It fits the PB1-750, PB1-750N, and PB1-750M variants using OEM part number L15D1P32. If your PHAB no longer holds a charge through a normal day of use, this cell is the direct hardware fix.

  • PB1-750 variant compatibility: The PB1-750, PB1-750N, and PB1-750M all run the same 3.8V power rail with an identical connector footprint and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers all three without hardware modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge and discharge cycle on a PB1-750 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC stepped through trickle, constant-current, and constant-voltage phases cleanly.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the PHAB after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop under screen or modem load than the IC expects at that state-of-charge. The device hits the hardware undervoltage cutoff before the software percentage reaches zero. One full slow discharge-charge cycle forces the IC to relearn the curve against the new cell and eliminates the false cutoff.

USB charging not recognised on the first cycle after replacement

A freshly installed Li-Polymer cell can sit below the charge IC's minimum acceptance threshold if it has been in storage. The BMS will block the charge path entirely until the cell voltage climbs above approximately 2.5V per cell. Connect the PHAB to a 5V/1A charger — not a fast charger — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power on. Once the BMS detects the cell has recovered above threshold, normal charging resumes automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Lenovo PHAB shuts off at around 25% battery after I put in the new cell — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC in the PB1-750 is still running the discharge curve it mapped from the old, degraded battery. Under the screen or modem load the PHAB pulls, the new cell's voltage drops faster than the IC predicts at that state-of-charge, triggering a hardware undervoltage cutoff before the percentage hits zero. Run one full slow discharge to shutdown and a full charge without fast charging — the IC will recalibrate its coulomb counter to the new cell and the false shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my PHAB jumps around erratically after the swap — it went from 60% to 82% without charging.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a cell it has never seen before. The coulomb counter accumulated error over the life of the old cell and it has no accurate baseline for the new one. The numbers stabilise after one or two complete discharge-charge cycles at slow charge rate. Disable fast charging in settings for the first two cycles, let the device discharge fully to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%.

The PHAB feels warm near the battery area while charging the new cell, even at standard charge speed.

A new Li-Polymer cell typically has slightly higher internal impedance than a well-cycled cell, so the charge IC dissipates more heat as it pushes current into it during the first few cycles. This is normal and reduces as the cell forms. If the device becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, or if charging stops and restarts repeatedly, check that the charger output does not exceed 5V/2A — the PB1-750 charge IC can throttle or fault on out-of-spec input voltage.
