Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MeiZu Pro 6s / M570Q-S — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BT53S)
This is a 3.85V, 3050mAh (11.74Wh) Li-Polymer cell built to OEM spec BT53S for the MeiZu Pro 6s and M570Q-S Dual SIM TD-LTE. It replaces a degraded or failed original cell and restores the phone's ability to power calls, apps, and screen-on use at normal voltage levels. Fit is direct — same connector, same form factor at 68.50 × 60.40 × 4.00 mm.
- Pro 6s and M570Q-S compatibility: Both the Pro 6s and M570Q-S share the BT53S battery connector, cell footprint, and BMS handshake. The voltage rail is identical across both variants, so one cell covers the full compatibility range without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge sequences on the Pro 6s platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.35V, and protection cutoff engaged at the expected low-voltage threshold.
- First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before mCHarge pushes high current into an uncalibrated state.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BT53S replacement cell
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. When the modem transmits or the display brightness spikes, instantaneous current draw pulls the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. The old cell's internal resistance profile was mapped into the fuel gauge IC; the new cell has a different curve, so the gauge reads optimistically until load collapses voltage. One full slow discharge to shutdown, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, resets the coulomb counter and eliminates most cliff events.
OS reporting wrong battery percentage after cell swap
The fuel gauge IC on the Pro 6s stores a learned discharge model from the previous cell. Swapping to a new BT53S cell doesn't automatically wipe that model, so the OS inherits stale calibration data and displays incorrect percentages — often reading 100% for longer than expected, then dropping sharply. The fix is a full calibration cycle: charge to 100% without interruption, use the phone normally until it shuts down on low voltage, then charge back to 100% in one session. After that cycle, the coulomb counter locks to the new cell's actual capacity curve.

Frequently Asked Questions
My MeiZu Pro 6s shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new BT53S — is the cell faulty?
The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge model it learned from your old, degraded cell, so it misjudges how much voltage the new cell will hold under load. When the modem or screen pulls a current spike, voltage drops below the BMS cutoff before the gauge reaches 0%. Run one full slow discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — that resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's actual curve and eliminates the premature cutoff.
Fast charging isn't working on the first charge after I installed the replacement battery — the phone just trickle charges.
This is expected behaviour on the first cycle. The mCharge controller on the Pro 6s negotiates fast-charge current based on a known BMS state; a new, uncalibrated cell causes the charge IC to fall back to standard current as a precaution. Let the first charge complete at the slower rate without unplugging. Once the BMS has completed one full charge termination at 4.35V, subsequent sessions will negotiate fast-charge current normally.
The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges with the new BT53S — should I stop charging?
Mild warmth on the first two or three cycles is normal. A new Li-Polymer cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a conditioned cell, so the charge IC dissipates more heat as it converts current during the constant-voltage phase at the top of the charge. If the phone stays below uncomfortable-to-touch and cools once charging ends, continue normally. If it gets hot enough to trigger a thermal warning on-screen, stop and check the connector seating — a partially connected cell forces the charge IC to work harder, which raises heat significantly.
