Fits Mobistel Cynus F7 4G smartphone; replaces original 3.8V Li-Polymer battery pack.
3.8V, 2200mAh capacity delivers 8.36Wh — sustains calling, messaging, and data connectivity throughout typical daily use.
Connector type and orientation match OEM slot; 76.50 x 59.80 x 3.00mm dimensions seat flush without modification.
We bench-tested on a Cynus F7 4G test unit; BMS accepted charge current without fault codes, voltage held steady under moderate load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mobistel Cynus F7 4G — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This is a 3.8V, 2200mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Mobistel Cynus F7 4G smartphone. It replaces the original cell when the factory battery no longer holds a useful charge or has failed entirely. Dimensions are 76.50 x 59.80 x 3.00mm — confirm clearance inside the chassis before fitting.

  • Cynus F7 4G compatibility: The Cynus F7 4G runs a single-cell Li-Polymer pack at 3.8V nominal. This replacement matches that voltage rail and the physical footprint of the OEM cell, so the connector seats without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge under modem-active and screen-on load conditions. The BMS held cutoff correctly at both ends of the charge window with no unexpected trips.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Why the Cynus F7 4G reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Cynus F7 4G stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored model no longer matches the actual cell chemistry. The phone reads voltage and maps it to the old curve, so the percentage shown can be off by 10–20 points. One full discharge down to automatic shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and aligns the gauge to the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — typically during an LTE data burst or a bright screen event — faster than the fuel gauge expects. The phone sees the voltage cliff as a fault and cuts power before the percentage reaches zero. It is not a defective cell in most cases; it is the gauge IC still working from the old calibration. Run one full discharge-charge cycle without interruption, then check whether the shutdowns stop. If the cell voltage at shutdown is above 3.4V on a meter, the gauge recalibration has not completed — repeat the cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is it dead?

A Li-Polymer cell stored without charge can drop below 2.5V, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to the power button in this state. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the cell voltage recovers above 3.0V, the BMS will release and the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted this battery — the phone only trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some charge controllers default to a reduced current rate until the BMS and fuel gauge IC complete a handshake with the new cell profile. This is normal behaviour, not a fault with the replacement. Run one full charge to 100% at the slow rate, then disconnect and allow the phone to discharge to automatic shutdown. Reconnect to the charger — fast charge should resume at that point.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it reads 45%, then jumps to 62%, then drops to 30% within minutes.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell replacement are caused by the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a cell it has no prior data for. The coulomb counter is making real-time corrections as it gathers new data points, which shows up as sudden jumps. Let the phone complete two uninterrupted full discharge-charge cycles — shutdown to 0%, charge straight to 100% each time. After the second cycle, the gauge IC will have enough data to report a stable percentage.
