The PDC-3370 flash capacitor pulls a concentrated burst of current each recharge cycle. A new Li-ion cell has a discharge curve that doesn't always match the voltage-threshold map the camera's firmware was calibrated against. This isn't a fault with the cell. Run two to three full charge and discharge cycles through the camera body and the BMS will remap its thresholds closer to the new cell's actual curve, stabilising the readout.
