Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Prestigio MultiPhone 3350 Duo — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PAP3350 DUO)
This is a 3.7V, 1300mAh Li-ion cell for the Prestigio MultiPhone 3350 Duo dual-SIM smartphone. It replaces the original PAP3350 DUO battery when the existing cell no longer holds charge. Dimensions are 64.90 × 48.05 × 4.40mm — confirm against your existing cell before installing.
- MultiPhone 3350 Duo fit: The 3350 Duo runs a dual-SIM modem stack that draws current from both SIM slots simultaneously. This cell matches the original voltage rail and connector footprint to keep both SIM radios powered without triggering the phone's low-voltage protection cutoff.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the 3350 Duo platform. The BMS accepted the charge curve without flagging an error, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold — no runaway charging observed.
- First-cycle fuel gauge reset: After installing this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The fuel gauge IC on the 3350 Duo is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle lets it recalibrate against the new cell before high-current charging begins.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Prestigio 3350 Duo
This is a voltage-cliff failure. Under modem load — especially when both SIM slots are active — the cell's internal resistance causes voltage to sag below the shutdown threshold even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The fuel gauge IC reads state-of-charge from a model calibrated to the old cell, so the percentage displayed is wrong. Run one full discharge cycle and let the phone die at 0%, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this forces the coulomb counter to reset its endpoints against the new cell.
Phone not powering on after the battery sat in storage
If this cell shipped at a low state of charge and sat unused, the BMS may have entered lockout mode once the cell voltage dropped below 2.5V. The phone will show nothing — no charge indicator, no boot screen. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, before normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Prestigio 3350 Duo shows the wrong battery percentage after I put in the new battery — is something broken?
Nothing is broken. The fuel gauge IC on the 3350 Duo stores a discharge model built against the old cell's characteristics, and that model no longer matches the new cell. The percentage reading will jump or read incorrectly until the IC recalibrates. Run one full cycle — drain the phone completely until it shuts off, then charge straight to 100% without interruption — and the coulomb counter will reset its endpoints to the new cell's actual capacity.
Both SIM cards stop working and the phone reboots randomly — could the new battery cause this?
Yes. The dual-SIM modem stack on the 3350 Duo pulls a short high-current spike when both radios transmit simultaneously. If the replacement cell has elevated internal resistance — common in the first few charge cycles — voltage sags enough to trip the low-voltage protection circuit, cutting power to both SIM modules before a full reboot follows. Cycle the battery two or three times at normal load and internal resistance will drop as the cell conditions. If reboots persist after five cycles, measure resting voltage — it should read at or above 3.7V after a full charge.
Fast charging stopped working after I swapped the battery — the phone only slow charges now.
The charge IC on the 3350 Duo negotiates charge rate on the first cycle after a new cell is installed. On a fresh cell with an uncalibrated BMS, the IC defaults to a conservative current limit as a protective measure. This is not a fault — it resolves after one complete charge cycle from 0% to 100%. If fast charging does not restore after that cycle, check that the charger output is at least 5V/1A and that the USB cable is not the limiting factor.
