Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy A3 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BA300ABE)
This is a 3.8V, 1900mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy A3 smartphone. It fits SM-A3000, SM-A3009, SM-A300G, and related SM-A300 variants. Cross-references OEM part numbers EB-BA300ABE, GH43-04381A, and GH43-04381B.
- SM-A300 series compatibility: The SM-A300 lineup shares a single battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol across its regional variants. One cell covers the full range without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on an SM-A300 unit and confirmed BMS recognition, stable charge acceptance from 0% to 100%, and correct voltage reporting throughout the charge curve.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.
Why the Galaxy A3 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The Galaxy A3 uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that builds its capacity model against the original cell's discharge curve over hundreds of cycles. When you install a new cell, the IC is still referencing that old curve. It will misreport state-of-charge — often showing 100% early in a charge or dropping percentage faster than the actual cell voltage warrants. One complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100%, forces the IC to recalibrate its internal model against the new cell. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a freshly installed cell
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity issue. Under modem transmission load or screen-on bursts, the new cell's voltage drops sharply below the protection threshold before the fuel gauge reads zero. The BMS trips the output to protect the cell, and the phone cuts off with charge still showing on screen. Charge the phone fully, then run the fuel gauge recalibration cycle described above. If shutdowns persist past the first two full cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partial connection raises contact resistance and amplifies voltage sag under load, lowering the trip point to around 3.4V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Galaxy A3 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the battery dead?
A Li-Polymer cell stored at low charge will self-discharge below 2.5V per cell, triggering BMS lockout to prevent damage. The battery is not necessarily dead. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage recovers above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.8–3.0V, at which point the phone will boot normally.
Fast charging stopped working on my Galaxy A3 after I put in this replacement battery — it only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Galaxy A3's charge IC sometimes defaults to standard charge rate because the BMS on the new cell has not yet completed its handshake with the device's USB charging protocol. This is not a fault. Run one full charge to 100% at the slow rate, then unplug and let the phone sit for two minutes before plugging back in. Fast charge typically re-enables on the second or third connection once the BMS handshake completes and the fuel gauge IC has baseline data.
The battery percentage on my Galaxy A3 keeps jumping around erratically — skipping from 45% to 62% and back.
Erratic percentage jumps mean the fuel gauge IC is actively recalibrating and has not yet built a stable model of the new cell's discharge curve. This is normal for the first two to three cycles after a replacement. Do not interrupt charges mid-cycle during this period. Run two consecutive full discharges to automatic shutdown followed by uninterrupted charges to 100%. After the second full cycle, the coulomb counter will have enough data to track state-of-charge smoothly.
