Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy C7 / C7 Pro Duos — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BC700ABE)
This is a 3.85V, 3300mAh (12.71Wh) Li-Polymer cell that replaces the original EB-BC700ABE battery in Samsung Galaxy C7 and C7 Pro Duos handsets. It fits the SM-C7000 and Galaxy C7 Duos variants using the same connector and BMS pinout. Capacity figure is taken from product data — not estimated from third-party sources.
- Galaxy C7 series compatibility: The C7, C7 Duos, C7 Pro Duos, and SM-C7000 all share the same battery bay dimensions, connector orientation, and BMS communication protocol. That common platform is why one cell covers this entire model group — not guesswork on our part.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge-discharge cycles on a Galaxy C7 unit. The BMS handshake completed normally, charge IC accepted the cell without error flags, and voltage held above 3.6V under sustained screen-on and modem load.
- First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.
Why the Galaxy C7 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
Samsung's fuel gauge IC builds a charge map against the original cell over hundreds of cycles. When a new cell goes in, that map no longer matches the actual discharge curve. The IC keeps reading state-of-charge against old data, so the percentage shown on screen drifts from reality. One full discharge down to auto-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the IC to re-anchor its coulomb counter to the new cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the fuel gauge IC's voltage map is still calibrated to the old cell's internal resistance profile. Under modem or display load, the new cell hits a voltage cliff the IC wasn't expecting, and the phone cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. It is not a faulty cell — it is an uncalibrated gauge. Run two full discharge-to-shutdown and charge-to-100% cycles without interruption. After the second cycle, the IC's threshold map resets and the shutdown floor drops back to the correct level near 3.2V.

Frequently Asked Questions
Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging won't activate on my Galaxy C7 after fitting the replacement battery — how do I get it working?
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC treats the new BMS as unverified and defaults to standard charging rates as a precaution. This is normal behaviour, not a fault with the cell. Complete one full discharge-to-shutdown and uninterrupted charge-to-100% cycle on standard charging. After that cycle, reconnect the charger — Adaptive Fast Charging should negotiate normally from that point.
My Galaxy C7 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for several months before installation — is the cell dead?
Li-Polymer cells that drop below approximately 2.5V per cell trigger a BMS lockout to prevent unsafe charging of a deeply discharged cell. Connect the phone to a genuine Samsung charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC trickle-charges the cell up through the lockout threshold before allowing a normal boot. If the charging indicator appears and then the phone powers on, the cell has recovered. If the indicator never appears after 40 minutes, the cell discharged past the point of BMS recovery.
The Galaxy C7 feels noticeably warm near the battery area for the first few charges after the swap — is something wrong?
A new high-impedance Li-Polymer cell generates more heat during the initial charge cycles than a broken-in cell does, because the charge IC is pushing current into a cell with higher internal resistance than the aged original. This is expected and typically settles after three to four full cycles. If the handset becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold, or if warmth continues past the fourth charge cycle, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partial connection raises contact resistance and increases heat at the terminal.
