Fits Vivo X7, X7 Dual SIM, and X7 Dual SIM TD-LTE smartphones replacing OEM part number B-A6.
3.85V nominal, 3000mAh capacity delivers stable voltage for processor, modem, and display loads throughout discharge.
Connector type is proprietary Vivo pad contact; orientation is fixed by battery slot geometry and locking tab engagement.
We bench-tested this cell against the X7 fuel gauge IC through five full discharge cycles; BMS voltage regulation held steady under peak modem current draw.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo X7 Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-A6)

The B-A6 is a 3000mAh, 3.85V lithium-polymer cell that replaces the factory battery in the Vivo X7, X7 Dual SIM, and X7 Dual SIM TD-LTE. It slots into the same footprint — 79.40 × 60.30 × 4.00 mm — and connects to the same charge IC and fuel gauge. Capacity matches the original at 11.55Wh.

  • X7 Dual SIM and TD-LTE compatibility: All three variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Vivo did not alter the power rail or cell interface between the standard X7 and either dual-SIM variant, so one part number covers all three.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the B-A6 through charge and discharge cycles on the X7 platform and confirmed the BMS negotiated correctly with the charge IC, held voltage within spec under display and modem load, and triggered protection cutoffs at the expected thresholds.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge reset: After installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the coulomb counter one clean reference cycle against the new cell before high-current charging begins.

Why the X7 shows wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The X7's fuel gauge IC builds its capacity model from hundreds of charge and discharge data points logged against the original cell. When a new cell goes in, those stored curves no longer match the actual discharge profile. The OS reads voltage and current against an outdated map, so reported percentage drifts from real state of charge. One full uninterrupted discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and lets the IC rebuild an accurate model against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old, degraded cell — it reads 25% remaining but the new cell's actual voltage under modem or screen load drops faster than the stored curve predicts. The BMS hits its low-voltage cutoff before the OS registers 0%. It is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one complete discharge cycle without interruption and the shutdowns stop once the IC recalibrates to the new cell's voltage curve, which sits above 3.4V at true cutoff.

Frequently Asked Questions

USB-PD fast charging isn't working on the X7 after I put in the new battery — is something wrong?

This is normal on the first cycle after a cell swap. The charge IC sometimes withholds fast-charge negotiation until the BMS completes one standard charge cycle and confirms the new cell is within safe parameters. Plug in with the original charger and let it charge at standard rate to 100% without interrupting it. Fast charging typically resumes from the second cycle onward.

My X7 battery percentage is jumping around erratically — it skips from 45% to 62% then drops to 38% in minutes.

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell and has not yet built a reliable discharge curve. It is reading voltage spikes and dips from an uncalibrated coulomb counter and mapping them to whatever the old curve predicted at that voltage. Let the phone discharge completely to automatic shutoff, then charge in one uninterrupted session to 100%. The erratic jumping should stop after that reference cycle, as the IC now has clean endpoints to anchor its calculations.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation.

Lithium-polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS locks out to prevent damage — the phone will not respond to the power button or show any charge indicator. Connect it to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. Most charge ICs apply a trickle current to recover a deeply discharged cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone powers on.
