Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Eufy SpaceView Baby Monitor E110 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BAT-JSY-BL)
This 3.7V, 3000mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the OEM cell in the Eufy SpaceView E110 and T8300-M parent unit. It powers the parent unit's display, speaker, and wireless radio link to the camera unit. Dimensions are 58.50 × 40.00 × 9.40mm — confirm these against your existing cell before fitting.
- E110 and T8300-M parent unit fit: Both models share the same parent unit housing, connector pinout, and BMS handshake, so one cell covers both. The battery talks to the onboard protection circuit to manage charge and discharge thresholds.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the E110 parent unit and confirmed the BMS accepted the charge curve without flagging a fault. The protection circuit held at the correct low-voltage cutoff before the display triggered a low-battery alert.
- Re-pairing after swap: Cutting power to the parent unit during a battery swap breaks the stored wireless link to the camera. Once the new battery is fitted and the unit powers on, run the pairing sequence from the parent unit menu before expecting a live feed.
Parent unit battery draining overnight during normal monitoring
The E110 parent unit runs the LCD backlight, IR receiver, and 2.4GHz radio simultaneously during overnight monitoring. That combination is a sustained draw that will flatten any cell left on screen-on mode. The parent unit has a screen timeout setting in its display menu — enabling it cuts the backlight draw significantly while keeping the audio channel and alert functions active. Set the timeout to the shortest interval that still lets you check the screen without waking fully.
Night vision feed drops out or shows black after battery replacement
The camera's IR LED array draws a voltage spike when switching from daylight to night-vision mode, and the parent unit's radio must maintain its link through that transition. If the new battery is fitted but not yet fully charged, the resting voltage may be too low to hold a stable radio connection during the IR switchover. The result is a black screen or a dropped feed shortly after lights go out. Charge the parent unit fully before the first overnight use — the cell needs to be at or near 4.2V to handle the transient load without the BMS cutting out.

Frequently Asked Questions
The parent unit screen came on after the battery swap but the camera feed shows "searching" — what's wrong?
Replacing the battery cuts power to the parent unit's memory, which wipes the stored camera pairing. The unit boots fresh and has no camera address to connect to. Go into the parent unit menu, select the pairing option, and hold the sync button on the camera unit until the feed appears. This takes under 60 seconds once you know the step.
The range on the parent unit seems shorter since we fitted a new battery — is something faulty?
The 2.4GHz radio in the parent unit runs at reduced power when the cell voltage is below its nominal 3.7V. A new cell ships partially discharged, so the radio never reaches full transmit power until the battery is topped up. Charge the parent unit to 100% before testing range. If coverage is still reduced after a full charge, check that the camera unit hasn't shifted position closer to a concrete wall or appliance that absorbs 2.4GHz signal.
The parent unit shows a charging indicator but the battery percentage isn't climbing after several hours — why?
A lithium-polymer cell that has sat discharged for an extended period may drop below the BMS re-initialisation threshold, causing the charger to detect the cell but deliver only a trickle until the voltage recovers. Leave the unit on charge uninterrupted for at least two hours — the BMS will step up to full charge current once the cell reaches approximately 3.0V. If the indicator still doesn't advance past the first bar after two hours, the cell has not recovered from over-discharge and the replacement unit should be exchanged.
