This 3V, 40mAh lithium cell is the CMOS backup battery for the Asus Eee Transformer TF101 and Eee Pad Transformer series tablets. It powers the RTC circuit and SRAM, keeping system settings, date, and time intact when the tablet is off or disconnected from power. When this cell drops below retention voltage, the tablet loses its clock and configuration on every power cycle.

  • TF101 and Eee Pad Transformer series fit: These models share the same motherboard RTC circuit and connector layout. The cell uses OEM part numbers 110410, 0623.11, and 1226.11 across production runs — the electrical spec is identical across all variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We confirmed the cell holds 3V open-circuit and that the RTC circuit latched correctly after installation. The SRAM retained settings through a full mains-disconnect cycle with no checksum errors.
