Fits Gigaset SL800H Pro, SL750H Pro, SL610 Pro, and SL400H cordless handsets; replaces OEM battery CS-SX785CL.
3.7V and 950mAh lithium-ion cell delivers rated talk and standby time on DECT handsets without voltage sag under transmit load.
Connector slides straight into handset battery slot; locking tab seats flush against the contact plate on insertion.
We bench-tested this cell in an SL800H Pro base charger; BMS accepted the pack on first connection with no fault delay.
After installation, place the handset in the base for 16 hours of continuous charging before relying on full talk time — lithium cells in DECT phones need an initial slow charge cycle to stabilize BMS calibration on this platform.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Gigaset SL800H Pro Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 950mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Gigaset SL800H Pro cordless DECT handset. It also fits the SL750H Pro, SL610 Pro, SL400H, and four additional models in the same handset family. The original battery degrades with daily charge cycles — this replaces it like-for-like at the same voltage and capacity.

  • SL-series handset compatibility: These handsets share a common Li-ion cell form factor, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol across the SL400H through SL800H Pro range. The same 3.7V rail feeds the DECT radio module, DSP, and display — swapping a cell from one model to another in this family does not require reconfiguration.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a Gigaset SL-series handset. The BMS accepted charge immediately from the base station, voltage held steady through transmission bursts, and no protection cut-off events were triggered under normal RF load.
  • First charge after install: Li-ion cells in DECT handsets can sit in storage at partial state of charge. After fitting, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full uninterrupted charge cycle before use — this lets the BMS calibrate its state-of-charge tracking accurately.

Talk time shorter than expected after fitting a new battery

A Li-ion cell that has been stored for several months will have a lower initial capacity than its rated 950mAh. The BMS may also have an inaccurate charge level estimate on the first cycle. Run two to three full charge-and-use cycles and the cell will reach close to rated capacity as the BMS recalibrates. After three cycles, a resting voltage of 4.1–4.2V at full charge confirms the cell is performing correctly.

Handset not re-pairing with base station after battery swap

Removing the battery from a DECT handset cuts power completely — some Gigaset models lose their base station pairing when this happens. The handset retains pairing in volatile memory, and a full power loss clears it. Re-register the handset manually from the base station menu using the standard DECT registration sequence. Once paired, the handset resumes normal operation without any further steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Gigaset SL800H Pro shows a full charge on the base but goes flat much faster than it used to — is something wrong with the new battery?

This is normal for the first two to three cycles after fitting a new Li-ion cell. The BMS starts with an uncalibrated state-of-charge estimate after a storage period, so it can misread how much capacity is available. Run three full charge-and-use cycles without interrupting the charge midway. After that, resting voltage at full charge should read 4.1–4.2V — if it does, the battery is performing as rated.

The base station charge light is flashing or showing an error after I put in the replacement battery — what's causing that?

A Li-ion cell shipped from storage often arrives at a reduced voltage, sometimes below the threshold the Gigaset base station expects before it begins a standard charge cycle. Place the handset in the base and leave it seated for at least 30 minutes without removing it — the base will trickle charge the cell up to an acceptable voltage before switching to full charge mode. If the error clears after that period, the battery is charging normally. Check that the handset contacts and base cradle contacts are clean and making firm connection if the error persists.

My SL800H Pro battery drains completely overnight even when it's sitting in the base — why isn't it staying charged?

Overnight drain while seated in the base is almost always a contact issue, not a battery fault. If the handset is not fully seated, the base cannot maintain the trickle charge that keeps a Li-ion cell topped up. Remove the handset, wipe both the handset charge contacts and the base cradle pins with a dry cloth, then reseat it firmly until you hear or feel it click into position. Check that the charge indicator light on the base activates — if it does, standby drain should stop.
