Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Panasonic KX-PRX110 / KX-PRX120 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (KX-PRA10)
This 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original KX-PRA10 pack in the Panasonic KX-PRX110, KX-PRX110GW, KX-PRX120, and KX-PRX120GW cordless handsets. It fits the slim battery bay directly and reconnects to the handset's power circuit without modification. Capacity is sourced from the product specification — 1500mAh at 5.55Wh.
- KX-PRX110 and KX-PRX120 platform fit: Both handset models share the same 3.7V single-cell Li-ion architecture, battery footprint (63.97 × 44.07 × 4.95mm), and connector pinout — one battery covers both. The BMS on each handset communicates charge state the same way, so no firmware or pairing workaround is needed after installation.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the KX-PRX110 charging circuit and confirmed the BMS accepted the pack cleanly at initial seating. Charge current ramped as expected, and the handset reported full charge without error flags on the base display.
- First charge after installation: Place the handset in the base immediately after fitting this battery and leave it for a full uninterrupted charge cycle before use. Li-ion cells shipped at partial state of charge need one complete charge to let the BMS calibrate the capacity window accurately.
Talk time shorter than expected after fitting a new Li-ion pack
A new Li-ion cell does not always deliver rated capacity on the first cycle. The BMS in the KX-PRX110 sets its initial capacity estimate based on the first charge from whatever state of charge the cell arrived at. If that first charge was interrupted or the handset was used before the base signalled full, the BMS underestimates usable capacity. Run two to three full charge-and-use cycles and the BMS will recalibrate to the correct 1500mAh baseline.
Handset not pairing with base after battery replacement
Removing the battery from a DECT handset cuts power to the volatile memory holding the pairing data on some KX-PRX models. The handset loses its registration to the base and comes back up in an unregistered state. To fix this, press and hold the locator button on the base for two seconds until the handset enters registration mode, then follow the on-screen pairing prompt. Once re-registered, the handset resumes normal operation — no factory reset of the base is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
The base station shows a flashing charge light but won't accept the new battery — what's wrong?
A Li-ion cell shipped in partial charge state can sit below the base station's charge acceptance threshold, causing the base to signal an error instead of starting the charge cycle. Seat the handset firmly so the contacts are fully engaged, then leave it undisturbed for 10–15 minutes — the base circuit will trickle-charge the cell up to the threshold before switching to normal charge current. If the light continues to flash after 20 minutes, remove and reseat the handset once to clear any contact resistance. The base should accept the pack and show a steady charge light once the cell voltage reaches approximately 3.0V.
Range seems shorter after swapping the battery — handset drops out further from the base than it used to.
The KX-PRX110 transmit circuit draws a short current spike each time the DECT radio fires. If the battery is not at full charge, voltage sags under that RF load and the handset reduces transmit power to stay within its voltage floor. The result is a shorter usable range even though the handset appears to be working normally. Charge the battery to 100% before comparing range — a fully charged 1500mAh cell at 3.7V will sustain the RF draw without sag and restore the original coverage distance.
Handset standby drops fast overnight even though it's sitting in the base — battery is nearly flat by morning.
This is a seating issue, not a battery fault. If the handset is not fully clicked into the base cradle, the charge contacts lose connection and the handset runs on battery in standby mode all night. Check that the handset clicks down flush with the base and that the charge indicator light appears immediately on docking. If the light does not appear within a few seconds of placing the handset, press the handset firmly downward until the contact engagement is confirmed by the indicator.
