Kobalt 80V blower cuts out at full throttle but works fine on low speed — what's wrong?

Full-throttle cutouts on high-draw brushless blowers almost always point to voltage sag — the pack drops below the protection threshold under peak load and the BMS trips the output before the motor can pull enough current. This happens faster on a 2000mAh pack because the smaller cell capacity hits the sag ceiling sooner than a 2.5Ah or 4Ah pack would. Check the resting voltage on the battery with a multimeter after it cools down: a healthy 80V Li-ion pack should read between 84V and 88V at full charge. If it reads below 80V at rest, the pack is failing to hold charge and needs replacing.
