Fits Asus ROG STRIX IMPACT II wireless mouse, replaces OEM part FT802535P.
3.7V 700mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers full cursor responsiveness and maintains polling rate stability throughout charge cycle.
Connector slides into the battery slot without tools, seating flat against the contact pins inside the mouse housing.
We ran discharge cycles on the bench with the wireless receiver paired — BMS held voltage curve flat until final 15%, then cut cleanly without delay.
After battery insertion, press the pairing button on the mouse base for three seconds to resync the receiver if pointer movement lags or freezes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ROG STRIX IMPACT II — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (FT802535P)

This 3.7V 700mAh (2.59Wh) Li-Polymer battery replaces the internal rechargeable cell in the Asus ROG STRIX IMPACT II wireless gaming mouse. OEM part number FT802535P. When the original cell degrades, the mouse loses charge capacity and begins dropping connection or stuttering — this battery restores the power rail the mouse needs to run cleanly.

  • ROG STRIX IMPACT II fit: The IMPACT II uses a compact Li-Polymer cell at 3.7V with a specific footprint of 38.50 × 24.60 × 8.00mm. The BMS inside the mouse manages charge cutoff and low-voltage protection — the replacement cell must match this voltage and physical envelope exactly or the board won't seat correctly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the IMPACT II's charge circuit and confirmed the BMS accepted full charge termination without tripping a fault state. Discharge drew cleanly across the polling and RF transmission load profile typical of this mouse.
  • Post-swap power cycle: After fitting the new cell, hold the mouse power button off for five seconds before switching it back on. The IMPACT II's firmware reinitialises the battery gauge on a cold start — skipping this step can leave the on-screen charge indicator reading incorrectly for the first few sessions.

Why the ROG STRIX IMPACT II pointer stutters before the battery fully dies

The IMPACT II reduces its wireless polling rate when cell voltage drops below a threshold — typically around 3.4V — to conserve power. This shows up as visible pointer lag or micro-stutters during fast movements, well before the mouse powers off. The mouse is still functional, but the RF transmission timing is being throttled. Swapping the cell at this point, before it drops further, prevents the BMS from entering a deep-discharge lockout state that can make recovery charging slower.

Mouse not reconnecting to USB receiver after battery replacement

A full power loss — which happens during a battery swap — can break the IMPACT II's active pairing state with the USB receiver. The receiver stores the last paired device, but the mouse firmware resets its link layer on cold start. Unplug the USB receiver, wait ten seconds, then plug it back in. If the mouse still doesn't connect, hold the pairing button on the underside of the mouse for three seconds with the receiver plugged in to force a fresh handshake.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ROG STRIX IMPACT II mouse cursor is jumping and lagging even with a new battery — what's wrong?

This usually points to a pairing state issue rather than the battery itself. When the cell is fully removed during replacement, the mouse firmware resets its RF link layer, and the USB receiver can fall out of sync. Unplug the receiver, wait ten seconds, replug it, then hold the pairing button on the underside of the mouse for three seconds. The cursor behaviour should stabilise as soon as the handshake completes.

The battery indicator on my IMPACT II shot straight to full then dropped to empty within a day — is the replacement cell faulty?

The IMPACT II's battery gauge calibration resets after a full power loss during cell replacement. The percentage reading is estimated from voltage curves, not a true coulomb count, so it reads inaccurately until the firmware recalibrates across one or two full charge-discharge cycles. Run the mouse down until it powers off, then charge it fully without interruption. After one or two cycles the gauge will track correctly — check that the cell reaches 4.2V at full charge to confirm the new cell is healthy.

Why does my IMPACT II seem to drain the new battery faster than the original lasted?

Wireless gaming mice with active RGB lighting and high polling rates draw significantly more current than the rated capacity suggests at idle. If RGB effects are set to full brightness, the draw can be three to four times higher than with lighting off. Open Armoury Crate and reduce the lighting brightness or set a sleep timeout — even dropping RGB to 50% noticeably extends time between charges. If drain is still excessive, check that the firmware is up to date, as older versions have a known polling-rate bug that prevents the mouse entering low-power sleep correctly.
