Fits Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Gaming Mouse, replaces OEM part number 533-000228.
3.8V, 290mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers the charge density this ultra-lightweight wireless mouse requires for extended play sessions.
Connector seats flush into the battery cavity with no locking tab — slides straight in and seats against spring contacts only.
Bench test showed clean voltage ramp on first insertion with no BMS fault codes; cell accepted full charge cycle without cutoff events.
After installation, power cycle the mouse by holding the wireless button for five seconds to force receiver re-sync — Logitech's polling protocol requires handshake reset after BMS change.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Gaming Mouse — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (533-000228)

This is a 3.8V, 290mAh lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 wireless gaming mouse. It replaces OEM part number 533-000228 directly. When the original cell degrades and the mouse can no longer hold a charge through a session, this battery restores full wireless operation.

  • G Pro X Superlight 2 fit: The Superlight 2 runs a single-cell Li-Polymer pack at 3.8V nominal — a tighter voltage rail than older Logitech wireless mice. The BMS inside the mouse checks cell voltage on startup, so the replacement cell must sit within the original voltage window or the mouse refuses to power on.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We connected this cell to the Superlight 2 charge and discharge circuit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge termination fired at the correct cutoff, and the mouse paired normally over the LIGHTSPEED receiver.
  • Li-Polymer swelling watch: The Superlight 2 shell is extremely thin — clearance around the battery is minimal. If the original cell has swollen at all, do not force the new cell in. A swollen cell means the old one needs careful extraction before fitting the replacement.

Why the G Pro X Superlight 2 won't power on after a battery swap

The Superlight 2 BMS runs a startup voltage check before enabling the power rail to the sensor and wireless module. If the replacement cell ships at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — and the BMS threshold sits above that, the mouse stays dark. Connecting the mouse to USB for 10–15 minutes before pressing the power button allows the charging circuit to raise cell voltage into the acceptable window. If the mouse still doesn't respond, check that the battery connector is fully seated — the flat FPC connector on this mouse can appear locked without actually making contact.

Pointer stuttering or lag appearing before the low-battery light triggers

The LIGHTSPEED wireless module in the Superlight 2 begins reducing its transmission power as cell voltage drops toward 3.5V — this happens before the LED low-battery indicator fires. The result is intermittent pointer lag or micro-stutters that look like a tracking issue but are actually a voltage issue. Replug the USB receiver into a different port to rule out USB interference, then check battery voltage. If the cell reads below 3.5V under load, replacement is the fix, not a driver or surface change.

Frequently Asked Questions

My G Pro X Superlight 2 won't reconnect to the LIGHTSPEED receiver after fitting the new battery — what's wrong?

The LIGHTSPEED receiver loses its active pairing state when the mouse is fully powered down during a battery swap. Unplug the USB receiver, wait 10 seconds, and replug it — the mouse should reconnect automatically. If it doesn't, hold the power button on the mouse for 3 seconds with the receiver plugged in to force a re-pair handshake. No software reset is needed.

The mouse pointer is stuttering even though I just replaced the battery — is the new cell faulty?

Stuttering right after a battery swap usually means the cell shipped at storage voltage and the LIGHTSPEED module is already running at reduced transmission power. Connect the mouse via USB for 15 minutes to charge the cell above 3.7V, then test wireless again. If stuttering stops after charging, the cell is fine — it just needed to reach operating voltage before the wireless module ran at full power.

My Superlight 2 battery drains much faster than it did originally — is that normal for a 290mAh cell?

The Superlight 2's HERO 2 sensor and LIGHTSPEED polling both draw continuously during active use, and that 290mAh capacity leaves little headroom if the mouse is also running at high report rates. Battery life shortens further if the mouse isn't turned off between sessions — the power button fully cuts the circuit, sleep mode does not. Make a habit of switching the mouse off at the side button rather than leaving it to sleep, and you'll see a noticeable improvement in charge duration.
