Fits Agro R800Li cordless mower; replaces OEM battery CS-ABL300VX.
25.2V at 2300mAh delivers full blade power for small to medium residential yards.
Slide connector seats flush into the mower's battery slot with positive terminal forward.
Bench tested on the R800Li motor load; BMS held stable through thick-grass operation without nuisance cutoff.
On first spring use after winter storage, bring the pack indoors overnight if outdoor temperature is below 10°C — cold cells increase internal resistance and can trip the blade motor inrush threshold.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Agro R800Li — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 25.2V, 2300mAh (57.96Wh) lithium-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Agro R800Li cordless lawn mower. It fits the R800Li directly and restores the mower to full cordless operation. Voltage and cell configuration match the original battery management system requirements.

  • R800Li platform fit: The R800Li runs a 25.2V Li-ion architecture — six cells in series. This replacement matches that cell count, connector type, and BMS communication protocol. Swapping to a different voltage pack would trigger a protection fault immediately on startup.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through simulated blade-load draws reflecting thick residential grass conditions. The BMS held cutoff thresholds correctly and recovered charge acceptance within normal parameters after full discharge cycles.
  • First spring use tip: Before starting the mower after winter storage, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current on a cold pack can trigger the BMS overcurrent protection before the mower completes a single pass.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass or wet-grass blade load

The R800Li blade motor draws significantly more current cutting wet or overgrown grass than dry, short turf. When that inrush current spikes past the BMS overcurrent threshold — typically within the first two seconds of blade engagement — the pack shuts down as a protection response. This is not a battery fault. Letting the mower deck clear the blockage, waiting 30 seconds, then restarting allows the BMS to reset. Consistent cutouts in heavy grass indicate blade load is exceeding what a 2300mAh pack at 25.2V can sustain continuously — slower mowing pace reduces draw.

Charger not accepting the pack after winter storage

Li-ion cells left in storage self-discharge slowly. If the pack dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell over winter, most chargers will display a fault light and refuse to charge — this is a low-voltage lockout, not a dead battery. Some chargers include a recovery or wake mode that applies a low trickle charge to bring cells back above the acceptance threshold. If the charger shows a fault, check the manual for a recovery cycle option. Without one, a compatible charger with a soft-start function can typically recover the pack if cell voltage has not fallen below 2.0V per cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My R800Li cuts out halfway through a row, then works fine again after a minute — what's happening?

This is thermal protection activating, not a fault with the battery itself. The blade motor generates sustained heat under continuous load, and once the pack's internal temperature hits the BMS threshold, it cuts power to protect the cells. Allow a 5-minute cooldown before restarting — the BMS resets once temperature drops. If it's cutting out frequently, check the underside of the deck for grass buildup increasing blade resistance.

The new battery feels noticeably warmer than my old one after a mow — should I be concerned?

New Li-ion cells run warmer than broken-in cells during the first several charge and discharge cycles. Internal resistance is slightly higher on fresh cells and drops as the cells condition. After 5 full charge-discharge cycles, operating temperature should normalise to what you'd expect. If the pack is too hot to touch comfortably after cycle 6 or beyond, stop using it and check for charger compatibility.

My R800Li feels sluggish and loses power quickly on the first cold morning of the season — is the battery faulty?

Li-ion cells lose usable capacity below 10°C — this is normal chemistry behaviour, not a defect. Cold cells have higher internal resistance, which reduces the current available to the blade motor and makes the mower feel underpowered. Bring the battery indoors and let it reach room temperature (above 15°C) before use. A pack that performs normally once warmed up is functioning correctly.
