Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ambrogio Nemh2o — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (045Z298000A)
This 25.2V 13000mAh (327.6Wh) lithium-ion battery replaces OEM part 045Z298000A in the Ambrogio Nemh2o robotic lawn mower. It fits the Nemh2o platform directly, matching the voltage rail and connector the mower's onboard electronics expect. When the original pack can no longer hold enough charge to complete a full mowing cycle, this replacement restores normal autonomous operation.
- Nemh2o platform fit: The Nemh2o uses a 25.2V 7-cell lithium architecture with a BMS that validates cell voltage before releasing power to the blade and drive motors. This replacement matches that voltage rail and communicates correctly with the mower's charge management circuit — no firmware or connector workaround needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the bench, including simulated blade-motor inrush loads. The BMS responded to overcurrent events correctly and reset without manual intervention after load was removed.
- Seasonal storage tip: Before the first mow of the season, bring this battery indoors overnight if air temperature is below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current at startup can trip the BMS on a cold pack before the mower moves a metre.
BMS cutoff during thick-grass or wet-grass blade load
The Nemh2o's blade motor draws significantly more current when cutting dense or wet grass — sometimes enough to cross the BMS overcurrent threshold. When that happens, the mower stops mid-row and the battery disconnects to protect the cells. This is the BMS working correctly, not a fault in the replacement pack. If cutouts happen repeatedly in heavy conditions, set the mower to a shorter cutting height or schedule jobs when grass is dry to keep motor draw below the trip point.
Charger showing a fault light after winter storage
Li-ion cells left in a garage over winter can self-discharge below the minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 2.5V per cell. Most chargers, including the Nemh2o OEM unit, will show a fault or refuse to initiate a charge cycle at that point. To recover the pack, apply a known-good Li-ion charger that supports a low-voltage recovery or "wake" mode, or connect the Nemh2o charger and wait up to 20 minutes — some chargers trickle at a low rate before switching to full charge once cells reach 3.0V per cell. If the charger still shows a fault after 20 minutes, cell voltage has likely dropped too far to recover safely.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Nemh2o cuts out halfway through the lawn and then starts working again after a few minutes — is the new battery faulty?
This is thermal protection activating, not a defective pack. The blade motor generates heat under sustained load, and the BMS disconnects the cells when internal temperature hits the cutoff threshold — then reconnects once it cools. Allow a 5-minute rest after a cutout before restarting the mower. If it happens consistently on the same patch of lawn, the grass in that area is likely denser than elsewhere — lower the cutting height by one step to reduce motor load.
The battery feels noticeably warmer after the first few charges than my old one did — should I be concerned?
New Li-ion cells run warmer during the first several charge and discharge cycles while the chemistry stabilises — this is normal conditioning behaviour. We measured elevated surface temperature on fresh packs for the first five cycles before it levelled off to normal operating range. If the casing is hot to the touch rather than just warm, or if the charger shuts off early, stop and check that the battery contacts are clean and fully seated. After five cycles, warmth during charge should reduce noticeably.
The Ambrogio Nemh2o shows a full charge but the mower clearly isn't covering the same area it used to before stopping — what's happening?
A new pack reading "full" but delivering less run area usually points to a calibration gap between the mower's battery gauge and the actual cell state-of-charge. Run two or three full discharge-then-charge cycles without interrupting them — this lets the mower's BMS re-learn the true capacity endpoints of the new cells. After conditioning, the state-of-charge display and actual delivered capacity should align. If coverage area still falls short after five full cycles, check that the mower's boundary wire hasn't shifted the route length.
