Fits Lizard M-V10, Q6, S2, S4 lawn mowers — replaces OEM part 101-806 and cross-reference numbers 1126-9105-01, 1126-9138-01, CS C0106/1, CS_C0106_1, PA-L1022.K03.R001, PA-L1022.K03.R002.
25.9V, 10200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full blade torque on dense turf without voltage sag during mid-deck cuts.
Slide connector seats into the battery slot with the locking tab facing forward — orientation matters for contact pressure on this mower platform.
We bench-tested the pack under full blade load; BMS held steady through thick-grass conditions and showed normal thermal rise over five cutting cycles.
Before first use each season, bring the battery indoors overnight if stored below 10°C — cold Li-ion cells have higher resistance and blade motor inrush can trip the BMS on a cold pack.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lizard M-V10 / Q6 / S2 / S4 — 25.9V Li-ion Replacement Battery (101-806)

This is a 25.9V 10200mAh (264.18Wh) lithium-ion battery for Lizard cordless lawn mowers. It fits the M-V10, Q6, S2, and S4 models. It replaces OEM part numbers 101-806, 1126-9105-01, 1126-9138-01, and PA-L1022 series packs.

  • M-V10, Q6, S2 and S4 compatibility: These four models share the same 25.9V battery platform, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them requires no adapters — the pack slots and communicates identically across the range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through simulated blade-start inrush cycles on a 25.9V motor load. The BMS handled repeated high-current draws without nuisance trips, and cell balancing activated correctly at the top of charge.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before the first mow of the season, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current can trip the BMS on a pack that hasn't warmed to room temperature.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass and wet-grass blade load

The blade motor on the M-V10 and related models draws a sharp inrush current at startup and again when it bites into dense or wet grass. If the BMS reads that spike as exceeding its protection threshold, it shuts the pack down mid-cut. This is not a battery fault — it is the protection circuit doing its job. Let the mower sit for 30 seconds before restarting, and if cutouts repeat, check that the blade is sharp and the grass height is within the mower's rated cutting range.

Charger refusing to accept the pack after winter storage

If the mower sat in an unheated garage all winter, individual cells may have self-discharged below the charger's acceptance voltage — typically around 20V for a 25.9V pack. Most standard chargers see a pack below this threshold as faulty and refuse to begin a charge cycle. The fix is to use a charger with a recovery or wake-up mode, or connect the pack briefly to a compatible charger that applies a low-current pre-charge pulse. Once cells climb back above 22V, the charger will recognise the pack and proceed normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Lizard mower cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a short pause — what's happening?

This is thermal protection activating in the BMS. Sustained high-load cutting — especially in long or damp grass — raises cell temperature until the pack shuts output to protect itself. It recovers once temperature drops, which is why a short pause brings it back. Allow a 5-minute cooldown between heavily loaded cuts, and check that the underside of the mower deck isn't clogged with clippings blocking airflow around the battery bay.

The battery feels noticeably warmer than my old pack after the first few charges — is something wrong?

New cells go through a conditioning period during the first 5 charge and discharge cycles, during which internal resistance is slightly higher than it will be once the cells are broken in. That produces more heat than you'd see from a well-cycled pack. If the casing is warm but not hot to the touch and the charger shows a normal completion state, this is expected behaviour. By the fifth full cycle the heat level should drop to match what your original battery produced.

First spring mow, the mower feels underpowered and the battery drains faster than it did last autumn — is the pack already degraded?

Li-ion cells deliver less usable capacity below 10°C — a 25.9V pack can lose a meaningful portion of its effective output in cold conditions, even if it was fully charged indoors. If the garage temperature was below 10°C when you started, bring the battery inside for at least two hours before your next mow. If the issue persists after the pack has been used at room temperature for several full cycles, check the resting voltage with a multimeter — a healthy fully charged 25.9V Li-ion pack should read approximately 29.4V at rest.
