Fits Stiga 325, 328S, 520, and 522 lawn mowers, replacing OEM part numbers 1126-9105-01, 1126-9138-01, and 1126-9174-01.
25.2V, 6900mAh capacity delivers consistent power to the blade motor across residential cutting cycles without mid-job dropout.
Slide-mount connector seats flush into the mower's battery slot with a positive locking tab that seats with firm pressure.
We bench-tested this cell on a Stiga 325 under load simulation — BMS held stable through three full discharge cycles with no early cutoff.
If the mower stalls under thick wet grass then restarts after cooling, the blade motor inrush current is tripping thermal protection — allow five minutes before resuming and ease into heavy loads on the next pass.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Stiga 325 / 328S Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1126-9105-01)

This 25.2V Li-ion pack replaces the original Stiga battery across the 325, 328S, 520, 522 and 28 additional mower models. Capacity is 6900mAh (173.88Wh), matching the OEM specification. It connects via the same locking slide rail and talks to the mower's BMS using the original communication protocol.

  • 325 and 328S platform fit: These models share a common 25.2V battery architecture, the same physical rail connector, and the same BMS handshake signal. One pack covers the full group — no adapters or firmware changes needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full discharge cycles on a 325 deck assembly, monitoring cell voltage and BMS response under simulated blade load. The protection circuit held cutoff at the correct threshold with no false trips on flat terrain.
  • Spring start-up tip: Before first use of the season, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current on startup can trip the BMS before the cells have warmed to operating temperature.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass and wet-grass blade load

The 325's blade motor draws a sharp inrush current whenever it bites into dense or wet grass. If the battery's state of charge is already below 30%, this spike can push instantaneous current past the BMS cutoff threshold, and the mower stops mid-row. The pack is not faulty — the protection circuit is doing its job. Keep charge above 40% before tackling heavy sections and mow wet grass in a higher cut setting to reduce motor load.

Charger showing a fault light after the mower sat unused all winter

Li-ion cells self-discharge at roughly 2–3% per month. After six months in an unheated garage, cell voltage can drop below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically 2.5V per cell — and the charger refuses to start a charge cycle. Place the battery in a warm room (above 15°C) for two hours first. If the charger still shows a fault, attempt a brief 30-second connection to a compatible 25.2V charger to nudge cell voltage above the acceptance floor, then restart a normal charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Stiga mower cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a short wait — what's causing that?

That's thermal protection firing. The blade motor generates sustained heat under continuous load, and once the pack's internal temperature hits the BMS cutoff threshold, the mower shuts off until cells cool. It is not a fault — it is the protection circuit working correctly. Allow a 5-minute rest in the shade, then resume; if it keeps happening, raise the cutting height to reduce motor effort.

The charger accepted the pack fine last autumn but now it just blinks a fault code after sitting in the garage all winter — is the battery dead?

Probably not. Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over months, and if the pack dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell during storage, the charger blocks the charge cycle as a protection measure. Bring the pack indoors and leave it at room temperature (above 15°C) for two hours. Then connect the charger — warming the cells raises resting voltage enough for most chargers to accept the pack and begin a normal cycle.

The new pack runs noticeably warmer than my old battery did during the first few cuts — should I be concerned?

New cells go through a conditioning phase in the first four to five charge-discharge cycles. During this period, internal resistance is slightly higher than it will be once the cells are broken in, which produces a little more heat under load. The warmth should reduce noticeably after five full cycles. If the pack is still running hot to the touch after that, check that the battery slot contacts are clean and fully seated, as a poor contact forces higher current through a smaller surface area.
