Fits Shenke SK-500I and SK-600I infusion pumps using OEM part number AEC703466.
7.4V, 1400mAh capacity delivers stable voltage throughout the pump cycle without mid-infusion dropout.
Connector seats into the battery slot with positive and negative contacts aligned; locking tab secures horizontally.
We bench-tested the cell at 500mA discharge — the BMS accepted the new pack and held voltage flat until cutoff.
After installation, let the pump complete its power-on self-test without interruption; medical devices verify battery chemistry at startup, and stopping this cycle triggers a false fault that persists until full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Shenke SK-500I / SK-600I Infusion Pump — 7.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AEC703466)

This 7.4V, 1400mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces OEM part AEC703466 in Shenke infusion pumps. It fits the SK-500I, SK-600I, SK500i, and SK600i models used in clinical settings to deliver IV fluids and medications. Dimensions are 67.60 × 34.80 × 13.50mm — confirm these against your existing cell before installation.

  • SK-500I and SK-600I platform compatibility: Both pump variants share the same 7.4V Li-Polymer cell with identical connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol, which is why a single part number covers the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load draws matching the pump's infusion motor profile. The BMS held voltage within spec across the draw curve and did not trigger premature low-battery cutoff under continuous delivery simulation.
  • Post-swap power-on self-test: After fitting this battery, let the pump complete its full startup self-test without interruption. The device's BMS verification runs at boot — cutting power mid-sequence flags a battery fault that persists until the next clean reboot, even if the cell is fully charged.

Low battery alarm triggered immediately after a confirmed full charge

Shenke infusion pumps apply a BMS threshold calibrated to the OEM cell's charge signature. A new replacement cell has not yet completed a learn cycle, so the pump's charge IC reads the state-of-charge conservatively and flags an alarm even when the cell is at full capacity. This is not a fault with the battery. Run one complete charge-to-discharge-to-charge cycle before clinical use — after that cycle, the BMS recalibrates its threshold to the new cell's actual capacity curve and the alarm clears.

Pump will not power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If voltage drops below approximately 6.0V, the pump's BMS enters a protection state and blocks startup entirely — the device shows nothing, not even an error screen. Place the battery on a compatible charger for at least two hours before attempting to power the pump. Most BMS protection circuits release once the cell climbs back above the recovery threshold, typically around 6.4–6.8V per the standard Li-Polymer under-voltage release spec.

Frequently Asked Questions

The pump shows a low battery alarm straight after I fitted the new battery and charged it fully — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. Shenke infusion pumps use a BMS that calibrates its state-of-charge threshold against the OEM cell's charge signature, and a new cell hasn't completed a learn cycle yet. Run one full charge-discharge-charge cycle on the pump before clinical use. After that cycle the BMS updates its threshold to match the new cell and the alarm clears.

The pump won't power on at all after the replacement battery was stored for a few months before fitting — what's happened?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell voltage dropped below roughly 6.0V, the pump's BMS entered under-voltage protection and is blocking startup. Connect the battery to a compatible charger and leave it for at least two hours without attempting to power the pump. Once cell voltage recovers above approximately 6.4–6.8V, the BMS protection releases and the pump will boot normally.

The pump shuts off unexpectedly during an infusion in the first week of use — is this a battery or device fault?

New Li-Polymer cells deliver their rated capacity from the first cycle, but the pump's infusion motor draws sharp current spikes that stress a cell harder in the first 10 cycles before internal resistance stabilises. If the BMS reads that voltage sag as a low-cell event, it cuts power to protect the circuit. Complete three to five full charge-discharge cycles on the bench before returning the pump to clinical rotation — by cycle five, internal resistance drops and the BMS no longer trips on motor-start surge.
