Fits Bea-fon M6 Premium and replaces OEM battery part M6.
3.85V and 3600mAh deliver full call and messaging runtime on this basic smartphone platform.
Connector slides vertically into the battery slot with a single locking tab at the base.
We bench-tested this cell in the M6 platform and confirmed the fuel gauge IC accepted the new discharge curve without lockout codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bea-fon M6 Premium — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (M6)

This 3.85V, 3600mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Bea-fon M6 Premium mobile phone. It restores power for calls, messaging, and standard phone functions when the original cell has degraded or failed to hold a charge. Dimensions are 87.40 × 64.40 × 4.10mm — measure your original before fitting.

  • M6 Premium platform fit: The M6 Premium uses a 3.85V nominal Li-Polymer cell with a specific connector and BMS handshake tied to this voltage rail. This replacement matches that spec so the charge IC accepts the cell and the fuel gauge IC can track state of charge correctly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, standby, and active modem load states. The BMS held cutoff correctly at both ends — no false low-voltage disconnect and no overcharge past 4.35V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the M6 Premium after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop under modem and screen load than the IC expects, so it reads 25% available but the actual cell voltage collapses below the BMS cutoff threshold. The phone interprets this as a hard fault and shuts down immediately. One full discharge to 3.0V and a complete recharge lets the coulomb counter reset its end-point calibration and eliminates the premature cutoff.

USB fast charge not accepted on the first cycle after replacement

The M6 Premium's charge IC negotiates fast-charge protocol only after it confirms the new cell's internal resistance is within an expected range. A fresh Li-Polymer cell starts with slightly higher impedance than a broken-in cell, so the IC defaults to standard 5V/1A on the first session. This is normal BMS behaviour, not a fault with the replacement cell. Complete one full charge at standard rate — fast charge typically activates from the second cycle onward once the IC has logged acceptable impedance values.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Bea-fon M6 Premium shuts off suddenly at around 25% — why does this keep happening with the new battery?

The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it mapped on the old, worn cell. When the new cell's voltage drops sharply under screen or modem load, the IC reads 25% but the actual cell voltage hits the BMS cutoff floor and the phone kills power immediately. This is a calibration mismatch, not a faulty cell. Run one full discharge to roughly 3.0V, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — the coulomb counter resets its endpoint and the shutdowns stop.

The M6 Premium battery percentage is jumping around erratically after I fitted the replacement — is the battery faulty?

It is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC recalibrates its internal model against real charge and discharge data from the new cell, and until it has enough data points the percentage reading will jump. This typically settles within two to three full charge-discharge cycles. If the jumping persists past three cycles, force one slow discharge to 3.2V without interruption — this gives the IC a clean reference point to anchor its state-of-charge calculation.

The M6 Premium feels warm near the battery area while charging the new cell — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth during the first few charges is expected. A new Li-Polymer cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat during the constant-current phase. Temperature should stay below 40°C on the back casing. If the phone becomes hot to hold or the charger brick cuts out, disconnect immediately and check that the charger output does not exceed 5V/2A — the M6 Premium charge IC does not regulate against higher-voltage inputs without the correct handshake.
